I know. I was asking why the rule is in place on my original comment. I can't think of one legitimate reason -
But he's married to an English girl and has family based in the Midlands

Boycotted years ago. You wonβt get me back in that stadium -
Just do what I do and pretend there is no Speedway at King's Lynn... it works for me ππ» They fell off my list of tracks to attend years ago. Been in the car park too many times as the meeting has been called off.

But they can't enter the pitsthey can only go to put gate -
Yeah, I'll admit British Speedway doesn't help itself with it's fixture (erm) planning, that's self inflicted but the BS he's pulled with Plymouth last season and now the last Redcar meeting are a pretty poor reflection on him... and he was rewarded with a testimonial meeting at the beginning of the season, just saying.

I have him : Home Scunny BSN 18/4 Plymouth CH 9/5 Scunny CH 30/5. Away Redcar BSN 10/4 Edinburgh CH 8/5 Glasgow CH 15/5.

Canβt help his nationality can he. Pedersen was missing for Glasgow at Poole last week, chances are Jeppesen and Jakobsen will be missing for the comets when we race on a Wednesday. It is what it is, as long as itβs an adequate guest who cares really, itβs not that deep.

If he's that Danish perhaps he should consider basing himself in Denmark. Like many riders, seem happy to base themselves in the UK while putting British Speedway at the bottom of their priority list.

They may have to initially cut their squad size down but they can't be affording to lose their top stars due to injuries sustained abroad. It's the only thing missing from the Polish model to make it a real professional sport and it surely must be what they're working towards and they're probably only one big tv deal away from achieving it... Having said that I've just watched the ZG Leszno match, ran in front of a big, young crowd... but they didn't even have a children's race during the interval (with the obligatory rabid dog chasing them all around)... think how much that would add to the gate, they've definitely missed a trick there π

60% chance of rain from 15:00 increasing to 90% from 20:00 and then right through until 07:00 according to the Met Office app. As with all forecasts you pays your money, takes your choice. However, we could could wake up in the morning and its all changed. It's what actually happens tomorrow that matters at the end of the day.

I think itβs quite clear now. Mayfield want to try & move the sport forward both domestically in the UK & at gp level. They seem aware that they need to bring some of what Poland do to the uk but also that they need to work with the poles. The question is can they drag the BSPA with them or do Mayfield end up walking away in 5 years. I get the feeling this is really last chance saloon.
