I would be very surprised if anybody has ridden the track as yet ,si.ply because the steel posts aren't covered , I would imagine they will need a similar arrangement as mildenhall ,with a foam hat over them before anyone is allowed to ride the track

Blair didn’t supply the footage, or do anything like that from what I understand. The footage was sent to the box, presumably to the announcer, or the commentators or someone. Not via Blair, but for what it’s worth I don’t really like him, bring back Dick Barrie.

Should be banned then or will the old 'suffered a reaction' line be used - if it's still a valid excuse?

Don't forget Blair as he is supposed to be an impartial announcer, not running up to the referee with 3rd party footage, as an ex rider ( but not a very good one 😜 ) he should just let the referee make a decision good or bad and not get involved

So if Mudgway wants to come back to the sport, where is he supposed to ride? He hardly looked like a heat leader yesterday, but he's bound to get better. Hence the word 'development' that some people don't seem to understand.

While this is a very different situation to Museilak and Cook (National Championship, no Polish club involved, he'd be getting banned from two British clubs and not one) the bottom line is that IF he doesnt ride tonight that's three consecutive seasons where a Lynn rider has ridden abroad but not here and risked/got a ban. Not a good look at all. If it happens that's an awful lot of meetings and income he will miss in the UK over a 28 day period though. I suspect @szkocjasid is correct, he'll have aggravated it in Italy yesterday.

Totally agree, if he was fit to ride abroad, can't then be unfit to ride in GB. Mind you I'm sure it's happened before that a rider got through their comeback match but (can't think of the word I'm looking for) "exacubated" their injury when riding. *Minds gone completely blank, trying to think of the word when you're not completely fit & make it worse by riding.

That would be a terrible decision. Klima for Castagna & a heat leader for Kvech would make more sense. If Klima is a 4.00 in the Prem, you have 7.19 available to replace Kvech, if he was a 3.00 (8.19), or 3.50 (7.69) not sure how assessed averages work. I'm not saying Lynn should replace Kvech (or Castagna), just pointing out the absurdity of replacing Kvech with Klima.

Totally agree with this, I've seen riders get absolutely clattered & stay on, so nothing is done. Get barely brushed & slide off, so opposition gets excluded. Haven't seen the Cook & Battye incident, so can't comment on if I agree with decision, but surely a ref shouldn't announce a decision & then afterwards watch a replay to change his mind, especially an unofficial one.

With the speed of advances in AI its not hard to foresee that it won't be long until you will be able to do near real time modifications to video footage anyway so only official footage should be used.

No I don't think so,you will just have to attend. If you can't there is always speedway updates.

Lynn currently don't stream their meetings.
