The last race, a pretty much run of the mill 5-1, shows the difference between our version of Speedway and theirs . Over here? Virtual silence, apart from some polite applause, in a three quarters empty stadium.. Over there? A five figure crowd celebrate like their team were World Champions.... Any "newbies" over there couldn't help but get engaged...

Exactly - My family (3adults and 1 child) have done British Finals and SON at the NSS. Unfortunately train fares , hotels and Sat date put a stop to the British Final. The SGP at Manchester add the FIM tickets to trains, hotel etc over £1000 even with advance bookings so stopped going unfortunately.

Get us in then queue for hours only to give up and go with out a drink , even water …court of human rights 😟

15 point max in Poland today for Klindt apparently. Obviously nothing wrong with him on Friday, it just didn't suit his schedule. Should receive a ban from GB speedway and Redcar should sack him!

Looks like Klindt must have been healed by Jesus after missing Redcar's meeting on Friday. Maximum in Poland today. What a farce!

I agree, but I never paid more than £30 for a ticket at Cardiff after the first year after I realised there was an excellent view of the track no matter where you sat and I think the last ticket I bought cost me £23!

Those Torun race suits are horrible.

Sadly they do, due to sharing so many HL/SS riders, unlike other leagues.. One rider getting injured on a Monday could miss meetings on Wed, Thu, Fri and Sat... The potential answer is to run five man teams, like Denmark, so riders are available to replace those missing, or a fit for purpose RR system, however, the main reason for running UK Speedway is solely to provide rides for riders to earn money, therefore unlikely to happen..
