I genuinely don’t understand your negativity towards the potential reopening of speedway facilities across the country. You often claim there’s no money, but speedway has been run on the support of fans who own businesses for many years. We all acknowledge the challenges in the sport, but our shared goal should be to do our best and maintain a positive outlook. Regardless of the outcome of this particular venture, it’s disheartening to think that if we all adopt your pessimistic attitude, what’s the point of anything? You frequently emphasise the importance of protecting our existing venues, but I wonder how often you and other former Wolves fans you’ve persuaded attended Birmingham to try and secure their future.

Workington v Oxford 09/08/25 6pm.

Yes I enjoyed the British Grand Prix at your track on both the Friday and Saturday but the Friday was something else but the Saturday felt like after Lord Mayors show.Do not know if it was with having them on 2 consecutive nights. Will definitely be back in 2026 if Manchester have it. -
The crazy thing is.... Oxford is a perfectly good use case to prove what he says is wrong. Yet he keeps saying the opposite. Absolutely no reason why a Swindon return shouldn't be just as successful as Oxford's.

Had a £20 treble Monday night and it seems one always lets me down but that is why I always normally just do singles or a double.Just as well the bitcoins are keeping me up as the horses are doing poor as well.

I think maybe your make a good point about the age thing, being a senior statesman so to speak comes with a few responsilbilites, plus the desire to pass knowledge on. My tigers mate who attends every week - (and me) noticed how good Tai was with the younger lads, his team riding efforts were really good!

Plymouth vs Workington CL 02/08/25 Live on BSN

Barry's involvement means he has peewee races before, at the interval and after the meeting, something which you don't see on the streams but he gets them well involved and makes the do a little victory lap and a wave to the crowd, I know how much this means to the little riders because my boy is one of them. all he talks about is when the next my first skid or meeting he can ride at and that's all down to Barry and his involvement. The crowds seem to be down to the move to Saturday night's and the social media team they have buzzing people up in the run up to every meeting, people are bringing people along now and we now see countless posts of people saying 'its my first time and I will be back for sure'. If this Saturday is anything like the last you actually have to get there early now if you want to get a seat in the grandstand. There was over 100 kids in the kids race too, excellent to see. -
The same old rubbish from you...blah, blah blah...nothing to back it up. Go and spout your negativity elsewhere.

Deadline is today though isn’t it?

League Matches only in PL, League and BSN series in CL. Note that some teams League Matches may actually be run after the Play Off's have taken place.

They had Kye Thomson guesting against Worky, Tobias Thomsen against Oxford, Kyle Howarth against Scunny and Chris Harris against Poole. Even if none of that were true, it is not for Plymouth to decide whether rules have been broken, the tail seems to be wagging the dog 🐕
-
Because when he has been unjustifiably missing Plymouth have not used a guest for him. Instead they have gone the "no facility" route which means a facility of a 75% guest. Me thinks this would be better understood if the terminology wasn't so batrubbish contradictory!

I believe you are correct as playoffs don't count towards averages, not sure about KO cup or BSN final

Can someone confirm if the Final GSA for Team building in 2026 is based on what it is after the final league meeting in the regular season and before the play off's. That would mean Poole Teams Final GSA's for this season will be known on the 20th Aug after the away match at Oxford. Is my understanding correct ?
-
Was their heat leader holed up in a Polish hotel room on race night and racing around the rest of Europe during the week?
-
Didn't Edinburgh run most of the season without a heat leader a few years ago ?

Just used to pop in and out years ago SS as an observer. Used to enjoy your verbal jousting with Gavan amongst others! Seemed like a interesting forum so joined up. Used to go to Lakeside every week doubt if we will ever come back. -

That could apply to where's Lewy -
Its realistic. Spirit has nothing to do with it. Speedway is never going to return to venues because a couple of hundred people (if that) start jumping and down. It simply doesn't have the money.
