That is the sad thing about the sport in GB it’s basically living from season to season nowadays. Know one with money will be throwing at Speedway without seeing long term future for their investment .IMO Supporter Clubs are keeping a few Clubs afloat. The riders are the ones laughing to the Bank.IMO

Any business needs a vision, and a plan to deliver that vision... UK Speedway, basically, runs season to season with no one knowing who will run the next year, or which league some teams may decide to compete in, or what the team strengths there will be, or what competitions will take place, or what formats these competitions will follow.. You cannot keep "hoping for the best", by living season to season, and doing the same old thing that you always do that prevents you from ever having any vision, never mind a plan to deliver that vision... Millions and Millions of pounds of TV money has gone up in smoke over two and a half decades... Money which seemed to have bailed out a fair few issues which never got resolved... That money isn't there any more....

I can already think of a small group of Witches forumers who will all chip in and watch on the one stream in a cosy little shed/man cave…. 😁 -

Scunthorpe are woeful, simply not up to the task. Can't understand why anyone would want to sign MPT. If he doesn't gate (which happens a lot), he just looks totally disinterested. He'll never come good so I'd be inclined to get rid now. -

It’s one party I was hoping we wouldn’t join personally. I understand why they’ve done it, but it WILL affect attendance. Not everyone thinks along the same lines as you as in you’ll “always go to the live meeting”. Many, will choose to save money and watch at home instead. As I say, I understand why they’ve done it. What they lose on the terraces, they’ll probably end up recouping in streaming revenue and possibly even making a profit, but that won’t help the meeting day experience and atmosphere at the track. If you wanted to watch the Witches at Foxhall (barring the odd BSN fixture), then you had no choice but to attend. Now, you DO have a choice, and can save money in to the bargain. -
... still waiting for the "wow" news ⏳️

I welcome streaming. I’ll always go to a live meeting at foxhall and I’ll generally purchase a stream when we ride away. Now the away fans can do the same. some fans who travel a fair distance might choose to watch a stream if the weather forecast is poor rather than take a chance of a wasted trip. £14 for a stream is better than nothing if they choose to stay at home.

Hi Flagrag are you in a position to reveal if anything positive at all has happened from the Speedway Futures side of things yet obviously no issues if you prefer to stay stum if it puts you in a difficult position.

https://www.mayfield-ms.com/about She is indeed. Seems Chris Louis has walked away from the sport completely then which is sad. Olly Allen is a decent co commentator don’t get me wrong, but Louis was better IMO and seemed to be the regular along with Tatum. -

you need to ask some of these people who were badly injured if they wished they had never done the sport they loved.. -
Absolutely no chance to ride. He has posted this picture of his injured left leg today. https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=1558997819559189&set=pcb.1558988116226826

Today I, a lifelong cricket fan, have learned that county cricket is streamed on YouTube, from a speedway forum. Glad to see the ECB spend that £40million budget just as badly as others do.

They’ve done fantastic to bring in a Top number 1, possibly the best in the league. They are probably a number 5 away from competing with anyone and everyone. I hope they find one -
