The rest, how many of the rest are not doubling up these days.Even the reserve are in NDL and they are not doing that for nothing these days.
-
LCFC & Forest in different divisions and likely to continue for a few more seasons so no local rivalry (fiction or otherwise) for some time to come.

Scoreline pretty close but racing nearly sent me to sleep...🥱 -
Quite right with the Ipswich situation the league was in serous doubt - but it is good we have 6 teams in the PL to moan about in 2026!
-
Be good for a wheelie contest 😜
-
this season is a little weaker as we are missing some top line names so riders like Lidsey and Tom Brennan have their chance to step out from the shadows of riders like Doyle and Emil etc
-
I know, just looks so sorry such a shame
-
You do know who the landlord is?
-
That's the challenge the Pirates Promotion have to face as they only rent the stadium from Gaming International who lease the stadium from the Council.
-
Used to love doing Poole v Eastbourne home and away back in the day!
- Today

Oh do try to keep up Neila!🤣
-
He qualified for a visa by winning the Victorian State Title.
-
Change of subject, don't live in Poole anymore but visit when possible to see family. We visited the stadium yesterday for the car boot and noticed how sorry the stadium looks these days both inside and out, (gate was open toilets popped up to look at track) I know it's not been great for a while now such a shame as potential for great facility.

I remember doing Ipswich vs Lakeside and the return in the evening one year.
-
Shirley that would be attempted appropriation from Exeter ...

Yeah I saw that, but impressive for someone who is a lot older than Kurtz jack and Bewley (the top boys). Disappointed about the lack of racing though, thought this track was the best in the country 👀 -

He had the lowest winning time in the first 4 heats though... -
Workington comets fans will disagree. He's been good for us barring the odd performance. Last time he rode in the prem, as a guest, he done well too. He'll be fine, especially in the position hes riding.

Heat leaders perhaps, the rest if doing Championship only, I severely doubt it. Its a hobby they are good at, and enjoy, certainly not a living. If most teams started their season now they could be done by late June if they ran their meetings consistently week to week. If the returns on that basis were so good it would attract far more riders to the sport and from other motorcycle disciplines, increasing competition for team places and driving up the standard. It doesn't.

I once did a Good Friday of King's Lynn, Ippo, Arena & Peterborough and every single one was rained off lol... and we were in the car park for each one when it was called off... happy days, it was all part of the fun though (maybe not at the time) 😂 To have a 450 mile void of speedway on a bank holiday though is inexplicable 🤷♂️

Tate flew out of the start in heat 2 and won easily at BV tonight, think he will do alright at reserve because the Premiership reserves are weaker than last season.
-
No but Jack roberts and Liam Ashcroft were there practicing

Yep and back in the day meetings were held morning afternoon and evening with some real derby matches. As a Hackney supporter in those days I remember travelling to Ipswich in the morning and the return at Hackney in the evening. At Rayleigh you had a morning meeting followed by a return over the weekend with either Canterbury, Eastbourne or Boston. Today you have so few teams you cannot even have a regular weekly meeting and as a sport which should be thriving in the summer months you end up with a calendar devoid of meetings when support should be flocking to tracks and today the lack of ability to capitalise on those months when the sport should be attracting punters is consigned to history. Sadly it is a pale shadow of what used to be such a great bank holiday extravaganza.
