  1. Past hour
  2. I dont think they do hope to take the sport forward thats the problem.
  3. What Neila making things up so he can have another go at Poole how surprising!!
  4. Cracking evening. Decent crowd considering the forecast - although would have been bigger had more Poole fans made the trip. Lot less Pirates' fans tonight than Coventry brought a fortnight ago. Track prepared for rain that didn't come, but still favoured those who attacked it. such as Mitch McDiarmid. What a performance from Dayle Wood - masterclass in gating and also lovely team-riding in Heat 8 to ensure the 5-1.
  5. Sedgeman is a track specialist, he certainly didnt show it tonight though.
  6. Today
  7. As someone who was there, I would say the track was dire, I assume track wasnt watered due to possibility of rain so it was very dusty and passing was almost impossible. They did go round with the water truck once but it was still very dusty. Riss was a big miss for Oxford but our riders were very poor early on, most surprising was Lawson. If Bowes rides like that again he deserves to go,awful from him. In the end we did well to score 39.
  8. Enjoyed tonight, good to see some action after all that’s gone on recently. The crowd wasn't that bad, but obviously the weather played a part. The Unipart car park situation was a bit embarrassing, but hopefully sorted for next week. The highlight for me was the Poole reaction when Killeen was excluded and then Wood replacing him for a 5-1 with Masters. I will say for all those complaining about the track, for us to even have any Speedway to watch is something to be thankful for.
  9. How do you reach that conclusion from this?
  10. Well, that wasn't a classic was it!? Any movement off the blue groove and riders just went backwards. Took my Mrs to her first meeting since 2003 and she simply said "it's not as exciting as it used to be is it?" You can't dish that sort of meeting up regularly.and hope to take the sport forward!
  11. Doesn't matter which track he likes best, he's a Poole rider, end of
  12. Where has it been said he's going to be a world beater
  13. I think he could be in the plans if it doesn't work out for our R/S.But I'm sure Scott will be given more time than just 2 matches.Mulford is local and in the Young Stars team.
  14. A lot of criticism from Poole fans for the track tonight and.... they are right. It was awful. There was a lot speculation about how equipment/tractors, etc. had been removed over the past week, but reckon some must have missed the huge lorry load of shale that was clearly taken away. That said, it was the same for both teams, and Poole should be used to that sort of surface. If Erik had been available, it would have been a hammering.
  15. You might need to pit some dirt down now we've perfected gate and go and sticking to the blue groove. You might catch us out. But I doubt it.
  16. Middlo wasn't even there tonight, so shows how much attention you two paid. Danny Ford was team manager for the night.
  17. Fantastic job by Wood. He was very consistent for Berwick last year. Hopefully he is making another step forward this year. Definitely wouldn’t have minded him being back a Berwick this year.
  18. Even Killeen saying the track was 'terrible'. (He used a worse phrase but you know what Aussies can be like)🤣
  19. Some Swindon born twit posted that its pouring down all afternoon in Oxford !!
  20. Poole fans whinging about a track lmao. How comical.
  21. Well after a poor night for the Pirates, at least a win in the home leg will see us through to the BSN Series semis.
  22. Outgated in nearly every heat says it all. Congrats to Oxford who were better on the night. Pleasing to see CR and WC getting stuck in. Tracks same for both teams so you have to adapt accordingly.
  23. Poole will be there at the end of the season, even getting beat away they will pick up the average pts.
