  3. No rider at 1 today- not sure why Makar Levishyn isn’t riding.
  4. Pleased we have managed to secure a really solid rider at championship level to replace Craig. Can have mechanical issues at times and be a little guilty on occasions of retiring prematurely but he has a bit of class when he is in the mood. Looking forward to seeing him round Northside a track he goes well at.
  5. Am expecting another dust bowl and whilst I don’t care for the World Cup, there is no reason why injury’s aside, the meeting cannot be completed well with 90 mins, Frank Ebdon could have done that and you would still have time to get home if you lived within five miles.
  6. Group 4 result in Gorzow today Gorzow 4 Bydgoszcz 3 Krakow 2 Lodz 1 Cumulative after 2 of the 4 rounds Bydgoszcz 7 Gorzow 7 Krakow 3 Lodz 3
  7. Well now that fully makes sense. I didn't actually hear him, just read it The English would have thought he was pronouncing "scalped" in a posh English way
  8. Remember when all "our" foreign riders "had" to return home to compete in their national championships or they'd receive a ban/fine... how times change 🤔
  9. No "stars" at the NSS can often make a very good meeting... Maybe Richard Lawson may fancy it if Lambert and Bewley are not there?... Saturday night Speedway in Manchester... What's not to like?..
  10. Rasmus Jensen out of the meeting after his 1st ride for reportedly head butting the race director.
  11. Today
  12. Group 2 result in Ostrow today Grudziadz 4 Czestochowa 3 Ostrow 2 Rzeszow 1 Cumulative after 2 of the 4 rounds Grudziadz 6 Czestochowa 6 Rzeszow 5 Ostrow 3
  13. Thought this thread was going to be about Craig Cook!
  14. Group 1 result in Rybnik today Krosno 3.5 Wroclaw 3.5 Poznan 2 Rybnik 1 Cumulative scores after 2 of the 4 rounds Krosno 7.5 Poznan 5 Wroclaw 4.5 Rybnik 3
  15. Interested to see how Kennett goes tonight, thought he looked rather good at Northside on Saturday given his long spell away.
  16. Kemp is a really good signing, suits our track for sure. He can be very fast on his day. Scored 12 points last season at Northside from the No.1 position. Glad he's been snapped up and in the side for this weekend. Averaged 8.57 when riding in the No.1 position last season, so obviously has the ability, he kicked on massively over the last 2 seasons. I would move Kemp to No.5 and have Batchelor ride at No.3 with Tate, but that's just my opinion.
  17. Cook wouldn't have won them the league either. Good signing who won't let the team down unlike his predecessor.
  18. It appears some comets " fans " want a superstar signing when none are available and on what could be a limited budget 🤔 imo kemp is a good signing, could be a bit like batch at times, but this year batch has done well for the Comets
  19. I’ve taken out the subscription on the Swedish league this year and on a few occasions he has properly missed the start completely. Like it’s a psychological thing. If Ipswich view him as a long term investment then they should try to help him. Gating is something that can be learned surely. He can clearly ride the bike but it’s no good if you a few bike lengths down by the backstraigh each race.
  20. Group 3 result in Leszno today Lublin 4 Leszno 3 Pila 2 Torun 1 Cumulative after 3 of the 4 rounds Lublin 9 Leszno 9 Torun 7 Pila 5
  21. 20 users at best where dying out at a faster rate than the tracks.
  22. It appears some comets " fans " want a superstar signing when none are available and on what could be a limited budget 🤔 imo kemp is a good signing, could be a bit like batch at times, but this year batch has done well for the Comets
  23. That's 2 riders that like to poodle around at the back, wonder which one will come last 😂
