  1. Past hour
  2. Its like that tv series the prisoner once your in here your never leaving.
  3. Jordan Jenkins Racing Redcar and I have mutually agreed to part company after some confusion. I’d like to thank the fans for always being welcoming and friendly, and I wish everyone at the club all the very best for the remainder of the season. I’ve continued to work hard behind the scenes in the workshop and all equipment is ready to go. As one door closes, another will open. Thank you to all of my sponsorship partners and supporters for your continued backing - it’s greatly appreciated. #JJ85
  4. Looking forward to my first (live attended) meeting in 2026 - id have thought a routine home win but will be interested to see how the Fixes reserves do as they were bested their counterparts in the Foxes home match!
  5. It's days like this I miss Lagutaracingfan or whatever he was called - whatever happened to they/them/him 🙃
  6. He’ll say he’s better than Kurtz
  7. Eddie Kennett who saw that coming, still hope he does well enough to silence the doubters!!
  8. Today
  9. Presumably someone like Mulford didn't fancy it
  10. Nostalgia ain't what it used to be. Even so, Kennett is hactually two weeks younger than Danny King. Can't imagine he will appear to be any worse than Hellström-Bängs in terms of on-track effort. He rode at Iwade for Kent Kings against Mildenhall on 10th May, beaten only by James Shane's in the final heat: Eagles: Edward Kennett 14(5), Ben Morley 12(5), Jack Kingston 11+1(5), Connor King 5+2(5), Alex Chadd 5+1(5), Nathan Hargrave 5(5). – 52 Fen Tigers: James Shanes 12(5), Ben Whalley 10(5), Sam Woods 7+1(5), Kenzie Cossey 6+1(5), Patryk Daniszewski 3(5), Max Broadhurst 0(5) – 38 I know this means nothing in terms of how Kennett might perform in the Prem, but at least it shows he's kept fit and is still interested in riding.
  11. Do you remember when Rick left it until the last meeting to nudge over a 6 point average to be able to come back the following year from memory he got a 15 point max which I think nudged him up to something like 6.01
  12. The meeting was at BV at Noon. Over by the hottest time of the day. Poole track has all day. 20 mins outdoors and you are fried.
  13. What a blast from the past I can remember a last heat decider at Lynn against Cradley and it was Bricey up against peak Eric Gunderson as usual Bricey out-trapped them all but by second bend it was all over as usual. If Speedway world championships were decided over the first three metres he would have had about forty titles I think he was parterned by Roger Horsepool at reserve.
  14. If it wasn’t meant to be out there then it wouldn’t be would it. I’ll stay quiet in future whenever there’s any concerns regarding our 1-7. Forgot this was a dictatorship and not a place to have conversations. 🤡
  15. 26.05.2026: IV round Ekstraliga U24 , Grudziądz: https://youtu.be/egrHZ3pYB_Q?si=gk5y4-qbneCNieRX
  16. shows the sorry state the sport is in in the country when eddie kennett is returning at the top level.
  17. Largely agree with Baldyman here - it’s not often I am surprised by some speedway news but this really is a big one! Didn’t see that coming at all.
  18. Yes if you could have got Thorssell in on 4.5 that would have been the signing of the season as you would hope in this league he would be north of a 7 point plus average even if he was in the top five of the team.
  19. I think there is a lot in what you say but s/way riders are different from us mere mortals ,Tai has to come to the decision himself personally I think he will never return to level he was prior to these recent crashes .
  20. Don’t be daft. It was the duo you mentioned not returning leaving Ipswich with very little top end strength, that made the signing of a strong number 6 imperative if the team was to be successful. It was hoped that Bangs would have been that trump card on a 4.5 average, but it hasn’t materialised. We’ve covered him ok so far and made the cup final, but we’ll be underdogs against Leicester, and up against it to finish in the play offs without that number 6 position being filled sufficiently. No chance of winning it IF we got there. The rumour originally was Thorssell on a reduced 4.5 average. Perhaps that could be revisited..
  21. Strange scheduling, surely Glasgow would have worked out that Kevin Juhl Pedersen was always going to be missing for the Danish semi-final... Can't see anything but a Poole win and by quite a few giving Glasgow little chance of a bonus point.
  22. Cluff has improved as the season has gone on, think Cowley would suit him more than Armadale? Though he did far better last time at home. Of course it's harder to score points at number 6 than number 7 (unless there's reserve changes) so Cluff could ride better, but Loftus score more.
  23. Bellevue did a excellent job on their track bank holiday Monday, very hot day.
