We were already gambling on Hagon stepping up a level which never happened and coupled with Freddy's poor form at times we were tracking three underperforming reserves. There were meetings we could barely muster a heat advantage and relying on the other four riders to win the meeting. We outperformed to make the playoffs IMO.

Sweden is possible 12 June. Målilla's ended after this season and Västervik's first isn't until 2028. This leaves no contracted club/track for 2027. I think Målilla was offered to host 2027 as well but at the time (just after this year's GP in Målilla) they said that they needed to think about it. If the weather is like it was this year it will be a great event however Målilla is, due it's location on the southern Sweden highland, quite rain prone as we have seen during the years.

I value this opinion massively from yourself given your knowledge on tracks not being fit for purpose. Ipswich getting an upgrade leaves Poole with the lowest quality of racing in British speedway and arguably world speedway.

yeah, golden boy who still tried to steal the thunder by putting on some daft space suit and standing directly behind the world champion's first interview with the kids portraying the best guy ever! give the lad a break, he's just become world champion from miles behind, in the form of his life on his home track. He's probably going to say some silly things, although bar the F word I'm still puzzled at what he said that was so wrong

I hope for his sake he was soaking everything up ready to turn it into motivation for 2027. Biggest compliment you can pay Robert is how easy he made it look after his first heat. The result in the final was never in doubt from the moment he dropped the clutch. Nerves and composure of steel all night.

Congratulations to Robert Lambert, considering the deficit he pulled back well deserved.

As it stands at the moment to go from the nss to Foxhall for a grand prix is massively disappointing. Going from one of the best and most consistent track in Britain to one of the worst shouldn't have anyone cheering bar those who live a few miles from Foxhall. But thats as it stands now. Coleman knows the score and I'd expect one of his big plans is to improve the track- theres a decent little interview on Karlito youtube channel where he does press on the point that good racing is the priority to getting people through the door. There's been an awful lot of backlash on Coleman for this, but personally from everything ive heard from the guy, the ideas he's got and some of the stuff hes already implemented in a short time at Ipswich I really do think the rest of British speedway and other promoters need to start listening and taking note before it's too late

And I’ve seen Zmarzlik and others give many interviews after winning so don’t excuse him.

There's been far worse signings than him in the many years I've watched the Tigers. At least he won a few heats. Anyway, whatever, he's a young rider and Glasgow rider will get my support. He's not the sole reason our season tanked. Cami, Hagon, Howarth, injuries , inconsistent form - take your pick.

Love the lad, but, he didn't help himself this year ... Rode some daft outside lines when if riding the kerb, which he easily can do, wouldn't have got him passed.... Still, proper balls out rider though, so always great to watch..

Fantastic we have a world champion. Congratulations to Robert Lambert. Fully deserved and has been the best rider in the world for the last 12 months. Not a fan of Zmarzlik but he was gracious in defeat. Well done to him. A very good GP series this year. Interesting choices for next season. Ipswich fans must be happy about getting a brand new track. The current one is not fit for purpose.

Congratulations to Robert and all British speedway fans for Robert's WC title. He, Dan and Bfady will hopefully have many more WC title fights the next 10 years. Hopefully some more fresh faces will will be in the race as well.

Some of the old Manchester lot sure are a salty bunch.
