  1. Past hour
  2. Best wishes to all involved in Mildenhall Speedway. I see the SCB is trying to scare riders into not racing anywhere that the SCB/BSPL does not control the racing with their latest missive.
  3. Yeah i don't think its as cut and dried as a lot of people make out, everyone raises their game for the play offs and anything can happen on the night, up until this season Belle Vue had more often then not had big wins at home against Ipswich, so anything can happen if Ipswich do end up top and have to face Belle Vue in the play offs
  4. not often id say this but agree on this view a lot of others you tend to be too blinkered by your love of poole
  5. Think Scorpions will win but Bears to get the extra point their after. Expecting a couple of ‘retirement’ speeches from one or two home riders afterwards.
  6. What a crowd and atmosphere, this is what makes Polish league racing such a spectacular.
  7. Yeah. I only know because they have mentioned it on talk speedway for the last 2 weeks about 20 times
  8. What’s probably needed is a couple of Premier clubs say they can no longer afford to run in the league and need to run championship. Then we will see a change of mind to the current set up
  9. Today
  10. There is a noticeable drop in crowd levels whenever BSN are in town no matter how far travelled the opposition are. Might just be us Glaswegians are tighter than anyone else or we just have more competition in the offered sports in the area I don't know but I can see why they decided to drop their streaming. The promotion is trying to get a lot of new fans interested in speedway and in my opinion, a big crowd is just as important in retaining them as good racing is. Half of sport is the atmosphere and if a new fan showed up to an empty back straight would they really stick around long?
  11. It would be ideal if Ipswich met Sheffield in the play-offs. That way on Thurs 11th when Leicester are home to Belle Vue in the play-offs, Sheffield could race Ipswich in the league. Hope Phil Morris doesn't read that lol!
  12. Thanks for posting that, what a ride, scary to watch even when you know the outcome. I remember watching a meeting, individual, from Owlerton, it was a very wet track and I'm sure it was Andre Compton who was scraping the boards in a thrilling couple of rides, maybe you can name the meeting, some really exciting races. Always loved my trips over Woodhead on numerous Thursday evenings bitd.
  13. Sheffield can run a Monday too, they have multiple times for TV meetings.
  14. Well, that is sport all over, one team/opponent will always take advantage of another's misfortune. Every team would have done the same. We deserved it because one, we knocked the defending champions out, and won both legs of the final in convincing fashion.
  15. You have an awful lot to say about the Sheffield track, also a lot to say about what track riders would prefer to ride, have you ever been to Owlerton? Over the years there have been plenty of riders who stated they enjoyed riding at Sheffield, much less so Ipswich. But hey ho, everyone seems to miss your point, I wonder why. It's clear you love the sound of your own keyboard, you could start an argument in an empty room.
  16. Look out for a new Dane in the second half - Jonas Seifert-Salk
  17. This could be edge of the seat racing tonight. It has all the makings of a cracker. Not that anyone needs reminding but the winners on aggregate can relax knowing their future in the Extraleague in 2026 is assured.
  18. If Tigers win they play the monarchs again in the play-offs, I think.
  19. I think they are trying to say that they have got to have the 2nd Leg more so for the Semi as they know that Leicester can run on a Monday easily although would get a lesser crowd as off night and 1st leg
  20. Was originally meant to be streamed by BSN before our “hiatus” looks like that part of the site hasn’t been updated.
