  1. Past hour
  2. I'm guessing from Berwick's point of view, they'll get more fans on a Saturday night, even with missing riders than they would on their alternate race-day. With so few fixtures these days, they should manage to race on Saturdays only.
  3. Yesterday
  4. That would be Clive Valentino a renowned porn star until age caught up with him and another semi was a thing off the past.
  5. Perhaps he is, I dont know too much about him but after last night I could have seen him finishing 16th with a big fat zero. As it turned out he didn't look out of place in a pretty strong field.
  6. The second half of this SGP wasn't too bad, but the first half was a strain with the track resembling a swamp. It is not the first time Phil Morris has set a track under water. Why again and again?
  7. It was good to see Bewley so visibly disappointed with the loss which I took to be a good sign, he's not really shown that before.
  8. Feel a bit for Bewley having to settle for 2nd on the night especially after that heat 19. But we'd have all taken the two Brits getting to the final & Zmarzlik not looking invincible before the meeting. A Kurtz sophomore slump could be due. The post heat 12 tractoring was hard to endure inside the stadium but the racing afterwards made up for it. Who knew a Coventry Bee could win a GP still.
  9. If it wasnโ€™t for Kye not sure there thereโ€™s a word to describe it ๐Ÿ˜‚
  10. Was about as off the pace as he has been in every meeting for us this season, least heโ€™s consistent. Made some big changes to the bike after the match and went out and done some laps says he feels like the bike is night and day to ride now. So see shat tomorrow brings ๐Ÿ˜‚
  11. Have to congratulate Leon and Sam for there 100% committed riding as guests certainly gave everything and and fine win for Berwick on aggregate against the odds.Kye Thompson was great for Monarchs, certainly having a good season.
  12. What about alternative race night being used though. In rearranged fixtures following initial rain off.
  13. Edinburgh might win at Glasgow tomorrow and still get through. If Dan had been at Berwick, Edinburgh would still have needed something at Glasgow as they wouldn't have won tonight (possibly got the bonus point). Both teams severely hampered by missing number ones (Berwick missed Peter last night also).
  14. Great win at workington tonight our reserves were the difference. I think workington might be a bit more harder to beat when they have all there team fit again.
  15. Well done the Bears best team won today, you caught us vulnerable and ruthlessly exposed our frailties. It is notable just how much Jody Scott has progressed since his 4 from 4 for the Bears last season after replacing Tom Spencer in the Bears septet. He has an able ally at reserve in Ace Pijper and it was the 17 points from these two that won the meeting for the Bears. Somewhat surprisingly Jake Allen decided to turn in his best meeting at Northside, same rider only scored 3 points over two meetings for the Scorpions last season, must be the magic Bears race jacket that does it. Nicolai seems to save his absolute best for Northside, his race with Jonas in heat 15 was a bit special. Jonas has impressed with how he treats his racing and just what a fierce competitor he is, an absolutely joy to watch. Real shame we haven't managed to qualify for the semi finals after the hard fought victory at Scunny last night. Special mention to Steve Lawson, great track prep, with a moisture content that facilitated a high standard of racing throughout without any noticeable dust. ๐Ÿ‘
  16. Heading into the last BSN qualifier, by my sums: Berwick have qualified, Workington cannot qualify. if Glasgow win or it's a draw, Glasgow qualify if Edinburgh win, Edinburgh qualify
  17. TOUCH !! Had a couple of bets on riders points totals and rider vs rider. Some reward but not as much of a return as Woryna. See what Prague brings lets hope Morris brings some plastic ducks so he can race them after watering the track.
  18. I think that's what they tried, on their day most of the side can score double figures, but also they can score 2 or 3. Probably need most to be in form every match as they don't have enough quality to cover off form riders.
  19. @lewy are you coming up next week to watch your team win ๐Ÿค”
  20. It doesn't clubs have to use a guest when they have "no facility" which I find odd. Don't see why there can't be a 75% r/r rule tbh
  21. Well done mr woryna , not sure he'll be wc this year but what a fantastic achievement for him to win on his debut in the series like smolinski did years ago.
