Just before the 1970 season started when interviewed on Border TV Ian Thomas labelled Vic Lonsdale 'The King of crash',,,,,but soon the crowd got tired of Vic's low scoring and booed at the mention of his name, he was hopeless. Then yes Chris Blythe got that title - not exactly one to be proud of eh. (I think Chris passed away this year?) And yes two unlikely lads won that 'best pairs' - I was there watching it.

Last match of a very poor season for the Scorpions. Which way will it go, will Scorpions find some winning ways, or will the Bears take it? Heart says Scorpions win, head says Bears win. Probably more media interest on round 2 of Allen v Wright with air fence on bend one/ two taking first hit.đ

Well you have 4th spot now confirmed and Leicester will finish either second or third. Not sure about Sheffield and Ipswich but no doubt the powers that be have it all under control! đ¤ˇââď¸

Richard Lawson paid 14 at Kings Lynn tonight ,wow what a season he is having. -
I'm not questioning the efforts of the track staff, 100% kudos for their effort. Fans should not be admitted entry to the stadium until the match is declared as going ahead... this kind of thing does the sport no favours at all... just another cut to die by. Called off by the SCB, who have zero financial investment in the sport, just choosing who and when to apply their tin pot rules to.

Weren't they gonna do that years and years ago to make it the Wembley of the north ??

Every track in the country has been in this position - everything good to go and then the rain hits. The track staff worked their arses off for about 1.5 hours trying to get it raceable. Some riders were happy, some werenât. It wasnât a case of getting the people in and then calling it off, you could see that they were genuinely trying to get it on, but if the riders wonât play ball, what can the promotion do about it? its crap, but as said, there isnât a track in the country where this hasnât happened, itâs an unfortunate part of our sport.
