I wonder if that means he would vote against a 'One League' structure? If so I would think that would be against the majority of Championship clubs and even a couple of Premiership clubs - aside from what many fans would also want!? (NB. Lets not forget the new Polish rider restrictions coming in 2027!)

A few with a certain few teams forcing the points limit up to 42 this year, otherwise toys were out the pram. Leagues going to be a bit of a joke this year imo. Nothing development league about it just wait till a certain team announces one rider they’ve signed.

I think the issues around BSN are simple. Without them, we wouldn't have any league speedway on TV this year at all.

100%... Without doubt, hardly anything, (if anything at all), has been done to engage those different ethnically diverse communities now found around many track locations.. But, you could also say the same about engaging the indigenous population who make up the majority of the fanbase too...

You could argue that any successful sport needs to attract people it didn't before. Look at football, they have huge ethnic followings for what in the 60s and 70s was very much a white working class sport.

Very sad to hear this. Terry along with Ivan Henry were great at Arena for the years they were there. I know he was part of the consortium trying to bring Speedway back to Swindon so this must have been sudden. All the best to his family and friends at this time.

and now we have riders like Mulford who were ruled out of NDL because of averages being allowed back in ( not his fault by the way as he doesn’t appear to have a premiership slot anymore ). How many more championship second strings are going to be taking the place of newbies ?

The European Championship in Varkaus Finland on Saturday 21st February starts at 2pm UK time( 4pm local). Federation allocations for the meeting are Czech Rep 2 GB 1 Austria 2 Germany 2 Italy 1 Holland 2 Norway 1 Finland 2 Sweden 3

Meeting starts 11am UK time on Saturday.
