  1. Past hour
  2. If Cooper thought the Poole track was as bad as the Poole haters think, why would he go there. Not short of offers I’m sure. Best of luck to him looks areal talent.
  3. Surly riding for Poole in the championship is developing them
  4. Fair play to Poole for usually managing to attract the exciting prospects. Shame they do the absolute minimum (and that's only when forced to) to help with the development of these youngsters.
  5. It will always be a topic, a bit like Kings Lynn track used to be much better than it is now.
  6. Today
  7. its been a topic way before that, its been awful for years now.
  8. Still no one putting anything up that contradicts my thoughts - just saying! Rather like the "let's just have one big league at Championship level" brigade that can't accept the true standard it will most likely be Only responses are name calling to deflect from the fact that they can't show I'm not right
  9. Once its downloaded, internet's not needed, so if you can manage a download, ur sorted
  10. I think Cooper needs to have some of the weight of expectation lifted off his young shoulders. Too many lads were going to be a superstar the minute they hit 16. Like Joe Haines 20 years ago or more recently Kyle Bickley, Archie Freeman, Ashton Boughen, even Will Cairns. At 15/16 they are still growing, some up the way, some round the way, some both, and body size and shape can be critical. I’m hopeful he’ll do exceptionally well and, certainly for his first year at this level, he’s going to the team with arguably the best manager and the Poole fans will get behind him as they do all the triers.
  11. Agreed if Coops, Cairns and Scott keep level headed and avoid bad injuries all three should have huge futures and should be the core of future England world team cup squads assuming UK speedway hasn't totally collapsed over next 2-3 years.
  12. I think this is a good shout. Worky track would suit him. Saturday track logistics may be an issue.
  13. I don't think it matters which track(s) he rides on/for, the boy is going to be a superstar.
  14. No, I think it's more about riders progressing from one team to the other as it's less of a jump. This may encourage fans to watch both.
  15. Maybe talk the" flying window cleaner" Tony Atkin into turning out !
  16. I get the above but apart from preferring hard printed copies of any magazine, digital versions aren't an option for me. Internet speeds are so random in these parts: I've watched live content of podcasts & such from Aussie, USA, Russia no probs at all, other times can take 5 or even 10 hours for an email to cross town. Likely cos while fibre optic is slowly being rolled out half the network connections are still copper cable, means BSN isn't an option either....
  17. Poole have signed a fantastic rider so people have to start talking about the track, a track that has some of best racers around come back year after year, Holder Ward BenCook Harris. The track talk is boring, and is only a topic as Poole tweaked it to benefit them vs Glasgow
  18. Don’t think he will, think promoters are better signing young riders on 2.00 and giving them a chance,Starke won’t get better than a 4.00 average unless he’s out at no7 all year and I can’t see any team doing that.
  19. Yesterday
  20. Looking at other teams up to now i think redcar have the best reserves
  21. I think Cooper will be a better rider than william cairns but its a shame hes chosen poole to learn on as there track is not the best to race on. he must have gone for money so i hope hes good at gating lol
  22. Will Simon lambert not fit its been said hes is not going back to scunthorpe
  23. Nah ya alright!!!! knudsen 🤣🤣🤣🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
  24. I manage to get my Speedway Star in Asda , usually can get it on a Thurs or Fri at the latest. If left to Royal Mail we'd probably get sense from the AGM before my next copy arrives. Having worked in the media industry - B2B and consumer mags , I am surprised that the magazine hasn't gone totally digital. Would guess more about the demographic of the readership but if postage costs keep rising and circulation drops don't be surprised it moves into the digital remit. Certainly an opportunity for a speedway website or app simlar to the PGE Ekstraliga version.
