Having read a lot of the negative comments about Plymouth speedway from other teams "supporters", Ive come to the conclusion that they are fuelled simply by JEALOUSY. Plymouth isn't a big money club run by faceless people. It's a smaller almost "family" run club. Looked after by volunteers and people who do it fir the love of the sport. Not people who run it with a "win at all cost" mentality. Yes it's nice to win matches and silverware but at Plymouth it's more about an evening out with good mates and enjoying good racing. Other teams could do with buying in to the Plymouths ethos.

Yes it does but as for the original post its not relevant to crowds at the NSS as it is in close proximity.

A strange Saturday night racing at Ashfield for the tiggers. Can bomber get the better of Sam Masters? Oxford have stronger reserves in Killeen and Knudsen so will be tough for Freddie and Max. I think it will be a close meeting with a win to the Tigers, I will go for 47-43.

Back home after supporting the guys tonight, never go to Edinburgh with much expectations it’s such a unique track to ride. Big mention to Batch and Hooky, everyone tried but as said it’s a unforgiving track and is extremely hard to pass after the 2nd bend even for the home riders! We are all aware how good we can be at home let’s make a go of it and try for that bonus point. Hopefully see a few travelling Edinburgh fans too. Onto tomorrow! - Yesterday

Stick your thumb out you may get a lift or arrested 😁 -
If Plymouth didn't allow their number one to pick & choose his meetings, they could've had a heat leader lined up at number 1 with Tobias Thomsen at 2. Then only 1 more guest needed. Feel for the injured riders, but no sympathy for the club. Get well soon Ben & Joe.

Really thought Antti would have pushed on this year, did he not give up on Poland to focus on the UK or am I misremembering? Tate at least has the excuse of that awful accident he had, wouldn't be surprised if he's still feeling the effects and it might have set him back a year. -
Horrible crash in heat 3 for Ben and Joe. Best wishes to both of them. Ben just has no luck with injuries and that a couple of big knocks for Joe in the last 7 days after his big off at the Coliseum last Saturday too. The rest battled hard to keep it going as a contest until the later stages when they just ran out of options. Effectively that first 150 metres of heat 3 ended any hopes Plymouth had. First visit to Redcar and very impressed with the setup and a friendly welcome. Luckily haven't got that long trip home as staying up north for a trip to Workington tomorrow. Garry's going to be busy on the phone on his way back South trying to find a combination of 6 riders to represent the Gladiators tomorrow night. I reckon only Scott and Alfie will be there from the declared 1-7. If anyone can sort it Gazza can though.

7 points between 5 riders 3 of them scored by beating Loftus and Palm Toft 1 scored because of Palm Toft being excluded 3 of them scored by beating a team mate in 5-1 defeats. Remarkable to only get beat by 20 points, we’ve had much worse results this season but none feel as bad as this one. -
Such a huge shame for Plymouth to lose Barker and Thompson so early. Thought Plymouth battled hard in the circumstances, but was a mountain to climb. Thought Pijper was going to geky unlucky tonight, not sure I have seen someone ride so hard for so few points.

Anyone know what the tides are due to be like in Plymouth tomorrow night? Hopefully have plenty of straw to burn if it's high! -
Yes I've been to try the 'Coliseum' the past 3 seasons. Pretty ramshackle place to be honest. Thankfully didn't go this season when on a sunny day the Redcar fans were allowed to pay to get into the stadium before it was called off due to insufficient track work after a rain storm hours earlier. The place needs some drains. Plymouth's use of a permanent guest at no 1 season after season was a joke and shouldn't have been allowed. Numerous meetings, unfortunately quite a few on BSN called off due poor track prep! Hopefully the tide isn't too high tomorrow so the meeting is on!

Let's not sugar coat it. Both have been rubbish. Vuolas has been awful away from home other than at Scunny. Tate has just been awful all season. He's only really been scoring what we'd expect once or twice. Atleast we are getting solid performances from vuolas at home -
Apart from our first away meeting at Scunny in the BSN Trophy Batch has shown his class away from home. Well done tonight Jacob, been riding well lately and has a bit of fight in him and to a lesser extent Vinnie. Seems like a poor one from Tate, 4 points over 2 meetings at Armadale for the Comets , 10 points as a guest for Redcar, hard to fathom that one. Seemed below par performance from Fraser tonight while 2 falls are uncharacteristic from what we have seen this season. Antti really should be pulling closer to his average on these tracks now. We had one fall less than in the KOC but mistakes seem to cost us good points. Gonna be tough tomorrow so we will need a full team effort. A win will do as realistically the bonus is beyond us. UTC !
