2025 Torun SON and SON 2

44 heats + build up of Kelvin Tatums commentary so far… dictators around the globe are probably looking into utilising this as the most brutal torture ever endured by man. No doubt about that working overtime jet propelled. -

I suspect this is a daft question but why is the stream I am watching showing Eurosport as the broadcaster but the commentary is the two culprits based in the UK. -
Well yes, they are bring prioritised because they are at SF stage still and KOC is further ahead being just the final. So makes sense to prioritise it imo. Also you need to be scheduling fixtures in soon as possible now we are in October as you are relying on weather and stadium availability.

He will be a GP rider in the next few years and it is just a pity that he is not slightly older as he would be a good challenge for the top GP riders. His time will come and is a future world champion. -
‘Sensitive’ comes to mind and it’s been shown unfortunately that he might be in the wrong job. I’m surprised the Aussie collective hasn’t given him the low down on Poland and its disgraceful use of riders. The rewards can be enormous but it’s clearly not worth making yourself ill to chase a dream.

Well that lacked any real excitement, like last night it had the practice day feel about it, hope the final is better -

It's responsibility, back in the early days of the SGP series track prep was left to the local organisers and a number of ploughed fields were served up or tracks favouring home riders. Mr Morris is independent and prepares an independent track and if he balls it up, it's on him. -

Kvech makes the best start, rides Torun every other week but doesn't ride the wide line? Bizarre, made it too easy for Kurtz & Holder -

I have seen some great meetings from Torun.... So why do their track curator's need any guidance from Phil Morris ..? Was he there all those Fridays and Sundays that I watched those great meetings from there? -

The Australian supporter freezing and bored!!!! -
Why? All matches should have to be raced. I can understand the argument, finish all the semi finals first. The only reason to prioritise the play-offs, would be in case the BSPL were worried all matches wouldn't be completed, that should never be an option imo.

They didn't even have a new date for playoff SF, so they didn't sort it out very well. Can't be delaying playoffs by at least 10 days or so because Dan wants the 2nd leg in KOC final.

Bizarre exclusion for Mustonen, sure he impeded Bellego but they both stayed on their bikes would have made the race more interesting. Wide line doesn't seem to be generating the speed it did last night. -

Fernando Garcia always dreamt of being a speedway rider and when he was younger he lied to his parents telling them an English club gave him a contract. He had little money but packed his bags and flew to England, he messaged loads of teams asking for a contract. He had no vehicle or place to stay so first night slept in the airport, then next night in a hotel and then when his money was lower (funds for travel) he slept for a week in a train station. He got a message for a guest booking with Berwick and then asked if he had a bike so he said yes, although he didn’t so he found an old speedway rider and bought his bike for cheap, after that he then realised he didn’t have a way of getting the bike to the track so the old speedway riders dad sold him his old van. He completed his first guest booking scoring 3+1, but Berwick then said the injured rider was back to fitness so he wasn’t required. He went back to the old van to sleep and lived off just apples and some fruit from a garden for three days, his phone died and he thought he would call it a day and sell everything and go home telling his family it didn’t work out, when he went to a petrol station to charge his phone Berwick messaged him offering him a contract and with that he lived and rode for various teams for 6 years. The only reason he finished speedway in England was because of covid and he had to move back to Argentina. -

The commentary from Kelvin and Chris is slightly ahead of the video so it’s quite annoying. Much prefer Kelvin on mute - no doubt about it
