It did vary from event to event, depending on size of capacity, and whether a full house could be expected.... The Speedway Star published the costs a few years ago and it started, I think, around £200k up to almost £300k... The rights owners getting the money as they had paid the FIM for the rights... With Cardiff being ran by the GP owners themselves given the big income possible from that event.. If the promoters have paid half a million for both meetings then they should still do more than OK from this weekend...
-
You maybe right but not quite. 6500 is the maximum capacity for the NSS. Find a facility with a larger capacity and the fans will come.
-
Around 3000 are the £69 ones so it was a guestimate at an overall average.. If it is higher then even better for the promoters of the event...
-
But some of the grandstand seats are £150 😲

2025 Torun SON and SON 2
magnus replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I noticed on the Torun GP tickets sales page there are two prices for each seat. Are these adult and child prices?? They are listed as "normalny" and "ulgowy". On google translate this means normal and reduced. -
Don't they have to pay the FIM to stage the GP, a very tidy sum as well?
-
Exactly ; what is the ruling for U24s riders in Poland for next year if not in the main team - is it one other league ???
- Today
-
And with the vast majority of tickets being sold being adult ones, and the cheapest being £69, with around the same number of tickets much more than £69.... Even if they only get 12,000 at an average of around say £85 or so in total, it will deliver a fair few quid, (over a million)... With the booking fees, programmes, the car park fees and food concessions are very nice bonus...

Definitely need more pyro !!!

For personal reasons, Barry Bishop has announced that he is stepping down from his position at Smallbrook. He said that he never intended to be there this long. Unfortunately, I never got to go there, but I had the greatest admiration for Barry and all his efforts.
-
Hopefully they get their pyrotechnics in....

Perry was always slated for his weak gating at glasgow. I remember seeing a pic of bomber (i think) trying to coach him at the track. This season he seems to have improved massively

Maybe for 1 season, how many riders lost a team place the following year as their average was artificially high

When the playoffs arrive can Lejonen have 1-5 of Cierniak, Zmarzlik, Woryna, Przedpelski & Drabik? -
Up the poles

Agree Brilliant action.Aruba Ducati’s are just too good,Buluga just keeps on winning .Lacuna must be frustrated.

I'm in London this week and went past the old track on the train twice today. Glad to hear of this. I love Ashfield but little would please me more than to see the Rockets back.
-
James Denham was asked in interview on Facebook by Roy about cookie, but it was I'd rather not comment at this moment, to me fair enough. As said season in terms of meetings has not got long to go, think it's more difficult getting visas/ work permits these days, so I would expect RR or guests for rest of the season. After Saturday performance you can't drop max Perry

Yet more rubbish from the clown, apart from the Poles, who are brilliant in my opinion, the majority of the rest will be Brits.
-
He best stay away from speedway it’s clearly not for him at present and is upsetting the club and supporters also.

I’ll get my pushbike out
