Racing at Armadale has deteriorated over the last few seasons.IMO.Track prep seems to be very slick nowadays.Riders probably like it though. -

Unfortunately the p1ss poor meetings are vastly outnumbering the good ones on BSN this year. Edinburgh seems to be a poor destination for decent racing with the home advantage -

At least he's paid to get in, even though it is as a concession... probably topped that up paying for a pit pass... where can I get one of those from? 🤔 -

This is exciting. -
Correct. losing home and away every week at rock bottom of the table is not being competitive. i should know, i was a Newport fan and apart from one memorable season in 1999 and a decent last season in 2011, i seen us win about 8 wooden spoons and lose at home most weeks. The crowd levels hit rock bottom and i cannot count the amount of times the racing was great and it was a last heat decider. as I said before, home wins are absolutely essential to maintain a decent fan base and Exeter are proof of that. The experience of the venue and track was superb in being so close to the action and it being a big, fast daunting track but the racing was absolutely dire but they won at home every week and kept a great fanbase because of that.

How does everyone get punished for one team being relegated? -
No just a judgement based on watching this sport for 50 years.

If only Northampton won at home, the play-off fight would've been even more exciting.

This is my point though, next year Lawson, Harris, masters, even cooper and cairns and many more won’t be able to ride in both the prem and champ which will create an easier way to then have cup matches etc because you won’t have people in theory riding for both clubs potentially. You could have a British cup instead of just a league cup and incorporate all the British clubs in one cup. That would also force Poole and Glasgow and others to jump to the prem as they won’t have a good selection of riders in the champ. -
Shame was/is that this cracking meeting was not shown on any TV . Shame is that FIM allowed this. BTW you say that 90% of these very good riders will never come to the UK. True, but what the UK would have to offer them? Speedway is a professional sport, and those who participate in it, do it for the money, and ride where they can get most.
