Because you can build multiple houses on an area the size of a speedway stadium in London and sell them for millions too. I know loads of people who have BSN, season ticket at Portman Rd and go to every Witches meeting at home… what’s your point?

I always get there for gates opening to beat the queue for burgers for my kids. And the car park was busy then. There very few empty seats in the main stand. I’m not sure where the idea it was poorly attended came from.

Ask yourself why there is no tracks in London (or Birmingham now) exactly same reason. for tonight I know lot of people who haven’t come because they got the BSN season pass. Lot more people got the season pass this year due to no TV, so you basically paying about £10 for the BSN and then paying to attend also.

And sometimes outside the rules ! I have firsthand experience of this the MDL was such a friendly bunch. Young riders learning track craft, experienced riders using it for practice etc etc ! One team manager’s approach was when fielding an illegible rider “your points won’t count but they won’t get them” once people like them got involved the MDL lost its charm ! Not sure why, maybe Godfrey wasn’t getting the numbers in his amateur days an “SCB MDL coordinator” got involved (can’t remember his name) and hey presto killed the MDL as we affectionately knew it !!

Pointless excuses. Everywhere on the country you can say people could spend the money elsewhere. It’s simple that Manchester just doesn’t have good speedway support. If you like something you make the time or money to go. If people prioritise other sports then it’s exactly what I said, poor support.

Too many counter attractions and piss poorly publicised to even try and get people there... Loads of pro football clubs in Grt Manchester, and several non League ones that themselves can get big four figure crowds.. Then add professional Rugby League and Union, Cricket, Ice Hockey, Basketball, Women's pro football, and even Netball, and getting a crowd on a Monday will be a challenge .. Plus, six teams in a league where winning has little reward, is hardly worth being interested in...

Yeah but we can’t sell out 10,000, Belle Vue can’t get half full 3,500 or whatever the mini stadium holds without a temp stand 😂 Ipswich are the only club who actually gets a good crowd.

I think that was the busiest I’ve saw Shielfield. I arrived just before tapes up and I’ve never saw the car park so busy. The first bend was mobbed, as was the back straight.

What are the concerns with Hodder, out of interest? I ask out of genuine interest because so far, my biggest concerns are our British U21 and SON2 champions. Hodder hasn’t been spectacular, but am I correct thinking he’s delivered his average in every meeting so far at the very least? Surely anything more is a bonus, no? I imagine his 9 paid 13 across the two legs of the play-off final secured his spot this season.

My parents Samsung is only 4yrs old and is no good for the BSN app to work on so far, has been fine for the previous 3 seasons, think is piss poor personally, pay out for a full season pass and can't watch a meeting via your smart tv till the app is sorted.

Brennan just announced as Wildcard for two GP's at the NSS on centre green at Belle Vue.

They certainly are in kevs although there are several different shades of blue among them!

Belle Vue are piss poor supported really, the stadium half empty is slightly embarrassing as such a massive city, and the fact even the SGP doesn’t sell out. Best track deffo in the wrong location in the country!
