  1. Past hour
  2. Can’t believe how many injuries are stacking up so early in the season. Gonna be a lot of guesting and R/R because of it.
  3. Susposed to be guesting at worky on Saturday, hope we can find someone else,
  4. On form, this season, DT is 2nd in the averages on 6.44 (not including tonight) officially he's 4th ahead of Morris and Kemp. He may not even have broken his collarbone, apparently he was saying he thought he had but the medics were saying they didn't think he had... Mr Dickson said he should get it x-rayed. I thought Gilkes wasn't too bad this evening, he didn't get the points but was on the pace and in the thick of the action, not bad after nearly a year out. I don't trust much to luck, good or bad, if riders keep getting injured it's for a reason, much like riders whose machinery keeps letting them down.
  5. Come oop north great racing at Redcar worky and Glasgow 😜
  6. Massive blow if that’s the case. He is currently riding at No.2 but I don’t think it’s unrealistic for him to be second in the team averages before too much longer. It’s always difficult to get cover for riders on the up having an average below their current form, so hope he won’t miss too many meetings. Early days I know but I’m starting to have second thoughts about Gilkes. Love watching him, a real trier/racer, but is his injury record down to bad luck? Continued injuries will bring is technique/ bike control into question.
  7. Although I would point out that Lawson was wearing an older pair of Witches kevlers with Heeps on the back.
  8. He did gate twice but got a bit outbattled by the sounds of it and it was said it looked like he lacks confidence on the bike. He also had a fall but seems to have got up from that ok.
  9. Poor Cooper signed for the wrong East Anglian team.
  10. You have to factor in what heat they were in and maybe what gate they had depending on how much you want to think about it. If you just want to go 3 plus 3 is 6 and that's more than 5 then fair enough. If Madsen was in heat 16 fair enough he might have got to six and hoped others didn't reach six and he'd have finished 11th and scored more GP points. If he was in heat 20 then a win and 6 points might, depending on other results only get him to 14th. The point is that the system doesn't reward every point scored. That's fine everyone knows the rules it just offers different incentives and therefore behaviours. btw did Madsen win his last ride and finish 11th instead of 16th? Not that it proves anything. I guess the only way to find out is by asking the riders and they probably just like winning speedway races so none of it matters at all. For me as a spectator it just feels like there's less riding on those last 4 of the 20 for a those riders that are already in the semi/last chance or not able to make up ground. Maybe they are full gas regardless and it's just the pragmatist in me that thinks they're not but there's no denying that the emphasis of the series is now very much about the final and what happened during qualifying doesn't really matter. That probably works in todays media. You can effectively watch the 10 series deciding races in 30 mins.
  11. Fills the Poole one tbh, you'll have to give him that one. Although last week was better, so hopefully that will continue.
  12. Today
  13. Dan Gilkes 1 from 4 rides tonight, can't see him replacing Kyle at the moment
  14. With a stunning performance like that I'd accept a lot arrival every week.
  15. Nice to see the gating tart left his gating gloves elsewhere tonight 🤣🤣🤣
  16. Iversen past his best so don’t rely on big points regular from him
  17. ANY top flight team replacing two none double upper heat leaders with RR & MPT would be way under strength. It a result of injuries and has happened many times before and will happened again, unfortunately.
