  1. Past hour
  2. Did any Brummies riders even average 6 this season?
  3. Summed up very nicely and the downfall of the brummie dream. Rogers has done nothing for Speedway other than don a foreign team manager hat at and given opportunity, obviously they were scraping the barrel.
  4. Tolley is fine....he's just clueless but has money to burn....Rogers is the problem...clueless and doesn't put any money in...but he will expect you to stroke his over inflated ego and compliment him on all his hard work behind the scenes, whilst he plays Roy of the Rovers with the NDL set-up!
  5. In a surprise move the Poles have done a deal with WBD that this final GP of the season will be shown live on TVP Sport. Previously non-Polish staged GP’s have only been available to watch on Max/ Eurosport player. WBD could easily have shown it on Polish Eurosport so i suspect that it’s all about money- they were made an offer they couldn’t refuse !!
  6. Today
  7. It’s weird that Oxford have only won against Birmingham yet Birmingham have beaten other teams! Not many tho. 😉
  8. In the UK I’d agree. Not at international level, just bang average. Certainly riding for Leicester has helped him progress in the UK.
  9. I’ve no idea as could only see a small section of inside the stadium from the fence outside the car park. I’ve no idea what the capacity is but I’m someone said 1500. I’m assuming then that numbers were being accurately monitored via bookings and sales to know that capacity was reached? Friends inside said that there was room to move about. obviously it explains a little more why people were turned away. I just hope ticket sales confirmed the capacity limit because it’s one last chance for Tolley and Co to make maximum amount of return which he absolutely deserves.
  10. A pity most of the riders didn't follow suit!
  11. Yes his average has gone up every year hes ridden in the UK. Though I feel in the GP hes not really progressed.
  12. Yesterday
  13. Actually it’s not rare, the rider circle is a very close community, yes there is the exceptions but on the whole they do respect each other and on the whole are all mates, you always want to beat each other especially your own fellow countrymen but it’s just racing, away from the track you find some even socialise together or train together and airports tend to be a bit of a gathering place for the international riders, at the end of the day they all share the same mechanics, tuners, flight organisers, sponsors and ultimately are all in the same game so yes respect is definitely there, I always respected everyone I was on a track with even the ones I didn’t like and it’s pretty much the same for all riders
  14. Respect! Wow. There's a word you don't hear very often. Certainly not in a racing context. Actually, on reflection, I was struck by the mutual respect that Sam Masters and Bomber have both spoken about on air recently. But it is rare none-the-less
  15. He was good for Belle Vue but this is his best ever season in my view.
  16. What is Knee-La on about? Worky track isn't gate and go. He's post is just havin a pop twaddle.
  17. One of the things I find hard to get my head round is Admission prices v Club Streaming.I realise Streaming was brought in to get some Revenue essentially from away supporters who would pay to see their Team when they could not attend.Which is fair enough, but why would you charge less for fans too watch the stream and more for Home fans to watch the same match .eg £11.99 for stream and £20 for Admission. The surely encourages home fans just to stay at home (especially if a family).I am assuming the Promotions are happy with the outcome of streaming though.Too me Streaming and Admission should be the same price.(just a personal opinion though).Should they be charging Home fans more is what I’m saying.
  18. Sadly, fines no longer accrue to the SRBF. They are swallowed up by the SCB. Does anyone know how much the Cash Penalties demanded in this instance are?
  19. Because in many cases, emails sent to the BSPL should have really been addressed to the SCB. Often these concern rules, rather than promotion. So they are forwarded there, and replied to by the SCB.
  20. He will be at Poole next year when it's one league.
  21. Yes we did struggle at Workington . I think we will win but may lose on aggregate.
  22. Perry barr track always came to life after it had rained.
  23. I firmly believe that Birmingham’s track has been poor this year because every Monday it has been baked by the hot weather, last Monday the racing was better and the outside line worked a bit better, why ? Because it rained half way through the meeting, not a lot but enough to keep the moisture in the surface, last night it was baked again and racing was poor, nothing wrong with the shape either but it does have an adverse camber from half way out on corners
  24. But rumours are he is going north next year ?
  25. Fines go to the SRBF don't they... so if Wright and Allen put a claim in for severe handbag whiplash injuries... all good 😁
  26. Obviously time has moved on a few years and things are more expensive but I was told yesterday a rider was asking for a substantial guarantee and nearly 3 times the point money I was getting in the premier league to race in the amateur meetings on the Isle of Wight this year but this is nothing new, I just didn’t think it had decended down to amateur level, they didn’t pay it by the way
  27. Tell me how many times have you been to Perry Barr to form this opinion.
