  1. Past hour
  2. It’s a poor weather forecast for the Weekend😂
  3. Counted about 8 lights out around the track last night, with bend 1 and 2 looking especially dark, where most of the crashes were last night
  4. I wouldn't agree it was the worst meeting! It did become increasingly difficult to see clearly due to the increasing breeze and dust on bends 1-2 especially.
  5. Agreed, i had a friend with me last night who hasn't been in years and although enjoyed it thought the racing wasn't very good. The blue groove on both bends was awful as well, haven't seen it like that for a few years. Also noticed that several of the track lights were out on the first and second bend that made it a bit dark, not ideal for rider safety
  6. Not sure any 'back tracking'? It was my honest summary of his night's work. What others wish to take from the original post is down to them. It did state 'to avoid any confusion' as some will have a different knowledge and interpretation of ' the white line'! Anyway I'm off for a game of tennis now so I'll be trying to avoid the white lines as much as possible.
  7. Mcdiarmid is an exciting rider to watch at Oxford. Doesn't always gate but he certainly will put in the effort if at the back.
  8. Not sure about tongue in cheek, more like posting before thinking type of comment. See he is back tracking now, so obviously realises it was not a good thing to be saying.
  9. Today
  10. It was a tongue in cheek comment, I very much doubt Sam or his family will be bothered by it at all.
  11. Fair play to Sam Hagon. A couple of really good races using both the white line and outside lines. Shame about his 360° off though. I wonder if we'll use him again on Saturday?!
  12. Blimey you certainly wouldn't have enjoyed British speedway in the 90s then when teams could use as many tactical subs as they wanted (1 person rider) even 2 in the same race.
  13. Looked a pretty decent debut for Hook at Oxford.
  14. I had a good night all-round. Admission is so quick with pre-paid tickets, crowd looked sizeable (programmes sold out!), fans enthusiastic (if you're the gentleman with whom my Australian mate in the Oz rugby shirt and I chatted, it was a pleasure to meet you) and, above all, some of the racing was excellent. It is so good to see Oxford revived. I wish them well.
  15. Sunday’s matches line-ups Gorzow v Czestochowa start time 4pm UK time. Gorzow 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Czestichowa 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Wroclaw v Lublin start time 6.30pm UK time Wroclaw 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Lublin 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
  16. Worst meeting of the season last night by the proverbial mile. Track looked very slick when I saw the track on entering. The track staff watered the track just before the meeting started which perhaps showed not enough had been put down during the day. It was a constant issue through the meeting and the water bowser struggled to keep the dust away. Racing wise it was rubbish. You could see riders busting a gut to pass but virtually impossible. Cairns and Rushen and Dan Thompson trying hard but getting nowhere. Cluff gated and sat there comfortably, having his best ever meeting at Poole. A shame as the place was packed.
  17. Final regular season match on Sunday 9th August. Opole v Krakow Opole 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Krakow 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
  18. Sunday’s matches line-ups Poznan v Krosno start time 12pm UK time. Poznan 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Krosno 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Rybnik v Ostrow start time 2.15pm UK time Rybnik 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Ostrow 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
  19. A statement surely has to come from Andrew not JD . My instincts tell me Andrew has not invested his life savings in producing a mighty fine race track and venue which he continues to develop to run practices and the odd meeting. British Speedway needs to reinvent itself. It appears obvious the fans are getting increasingly bored of the current format so it is incumbent on the promotors to bring forth much needed change. Where are the visionaries ?.
  20. See PK withdrew from his last ride in Denmark last night hopefully he'll be good for Saturday
  21. I get he impression that Mayfield want to go their own way with team building & do something different in 27. Bringing Ellis back would probably go against that & with. Month of the season left no really worth it if they are going a completely different route. Makes sense for Northampton Ellis could b in their plans for next year
  22. And all that rain we had when we had injuries every team has excuses it's how you deal with them Hey ho
  23. 05.08.2026: Półfinał, DMPJ R2, Bydgoszcz, https://youtu.be/0n6rU5aHeBk?is=GX0mdgQ3UAVl0cqe
  24. From the supporter of a Club of whom certain supporters scream libel / libellous and all sorts of other threats when pointing out their actual proven and convicted nefarious activities (with cameras) this comment is utterly disgusting and will be passed on to the family of the rider you are attempting to slander for their considered views.
