When he signed for Redcar he didn't have a Polish contract he had cancelled it, which was one of the reasons he signed for Redcar. Riders missing a UK match through 'injury', but then rides the next day for a Polish club, should receive a lengthy ban.

Weather Channel forecast as at 9:30am Monday NO MEASURABLE RSIN BEFORE 9pm Then a 50/50 chance of light rain producing 0.9mm This one should be on! It seems almost like Buster is sticking two fingers up to Mayfield for their recent opinion and statement....... -
Absolutely... and the amount of water they chuck on the track every 4 heats in some if the gp's. would constitute a rain off in a league match

Ove Fundin was in 15 finals altogether and finished in the top 3 11 times. Jason Crump also finished in the top 3 10 times running from 2001 to 2010, bookcasing both ends with two fourth places. -
This weekend could have a huge effect on the outcome of the series ,on current form Kurtz has got to be in line to win both meetings. BZ never seems at home on this track I know he won one and was second in the other last year but I just feel he is not quite 100% at the moment ,may have to settle for just getting to finals . Then there is the rejuvenated Madsen he seems to be back to more like the form he's had in the past .

Didn't even know it was on 😁

Although I dont agree with the rule, you could argue that reruns arent under starters orders neither. If theres some unknown advantage a rider can gain from re-entering the pits, then fair enough. However, I havent seen one person state an advantage, therefore why does it exist? If a rider can get to the tapes within the 2 minutes, then who's bothered what they do with that time? If its to save time, then do what the GP does and reduce the time. -

Agree 100%. It will rain tonight, just a question of when, but yesterday was not the time to call it off. Forecasting can be more certain on the actual day

But to me the race wasnt under starters orders ie no green light on and was within the 2 mins so shouldnt have been a prob! -

Did he though ?, MPT was under the 2 minute countdown and as such I don't think he was permitted to leave the track to rectify his own error. This seems to be reinforced by the refs decision. MPT has to take responsibility for this , even a quick check by the camp would have avoided the incident. -
The riders, with today's bikes, seemed perfectly fine with things at Glasgow on Saturday night, racing on a wet track, often in driving rain... the difference, they were chasing personal World Championship glory in an FIM meeting as opposed to riding in a humdrum league meeting in front of one man and his dog 🐕🦺🧍♀️

Bettered only by Ove Fundin......10 years and finished no lower than 3rd. And that was in the era of 1) a single meeting world final...no room for error, not even an engine failure 2) strong opponents ie Briggs, Moore, Craven, Knutson, Plechanov, Crutcher. Could possibly have been 12 years running if the Swedish speedway authorities hadn't banned him in 1966, as he came back in 1967 and won his 5th title.

1970’s all day long . Crowds, amazing smells ,splattered with shale , average riders putting their heart and soul into every race, leathers without sponsors names all over them . Basically the sport ran properly. 2020’s are a joke in comparison.

That Brady Kurtz needs to sort out his attitude and effort when he’s racing. Just the 18 from 6 yesterday…

Seems to me that some on here will find something to moan about no matter what happens. Met Office is currently showing 60-90% chance of rain right through from 11am so it looks like a good call. They could always have left it and then called it off when everyone was in the stadium, although at least the away fans wouldn't have travelled 5 hours like the Belle Vue fans at Ipswich a couple of weeks ago.

The problem Kings Lynn have is how often these questionable call offs happen some may be justified (maybe tonight’s meeting ) but some clearly wasn’t in any other sport there would be an investigation into why there is so many meetings cancelled - and if found guilty a fine or points deduction or both but this is British speedway so nothing will happen but does nothing for the credibility of the sport
