  1. Past hour
  2. Need to speak with Northampton they had cracked it last week after the heat 2 re-grade
  3. Track will be like every other in the Country right now, dry and dusty, has those that prepare track forgotten how to handle hot summers, most have been doing it for more years than they care to recall, or is it the riders insisting they want it like a dustbowl and if its the latter, boy are they going to be in for a shock once the weather eventually turns in a couple of months.
  4. I've only been once this year,, but tempted to go tonight,,but due to the weeks of dry weather we have been having,, I just know the racing will be awful. Mmm decisions decisioms
  5. A question for Dave Goddard- not that he is responsible for scheduling !! Premier Sports 2 schedule for tomorrow shows Live Speedway Dackarna v Vastervik at 7.55pm - some 2 hours behind the match happening !! Is there a good reason for this ?
  6. Today
  7. Decent meeting but it looked like a bore fest after the first few races. Having to water the track after heat 2 showed they hadn’t put enough on at the right time. We were on the back straight but soon moved to try and avoid the dust clouds so went and joined the Plymouth fans ( good banter ) on the terracing but still dusty there. Racing got better and there was some great races late on. Youngsters Scott and Loftus always in the thick of it after it looked like Plymouth might pinch a win. Feel a bit sorry for Lambert, the effort is there but the speed is not, retirement beckons I think. Still can’t see Bears making the top four as messers Allen, Edwards and Mulford are just too inconsistent even on their home track.
  8. Have a look on Raceday TV on Facebook if you want to see more of Emma Jones( and it’s a lot more LOL)
  9. Probably should’ve won the meeting. Worky lucked out big time with JJ riding in Poland as he wouldn’t have got near the performance Klindt put in.
  10. I get your point and on many levels I agree with you … Aussie qualifiers are tricky you have to do the Aussie champs which Doyle doesn’t as he is based and settled in the UK…. Unsure about Fricke situation…… but yes if Doyle wants to be in the series he could make the effort to do the qualifiers My point was that people bang on and on about ‘new blood’ in the GP’s and getting rid of certain riders…. I want the best 15 out there and like any qualification system you will never get that … the one off world finals had the 5 eastern block riders when quite clearly there was probably a dozen at least riders who missed out on the one offs. My point is now we have 2 riders … one new and one who has done it before and they simply are not as good as the riders they replacing ….. I would prefer Doyle and Fricke as they are better than Tungate and Nilsson by a mile …. But yes they didn’t do the qualifiers
  11. Probably going to say 50-40 to Ipswich on this one, the mighty lions to edge it by 4-6 points on aggregate
  12. Indeed, trouble is your riders didn't really like it either.
  13. I would have thought that this applies to meetings throughout the UK, and if you really want to stretch a point the GP's seem to have mostly the same riders from meeting to meeting, try finding something else to moan about, or if you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all.
  14. They would first of all have to get the Australian qualifying spots from the Australian Championships and the Oceania final.
  15. Hard to see Denmark not winning the Latvian semi. Will be an interesting weekend at Riga. Track has had a major overhaul, corners widened, camber almost doubled and a new oil shale surface, intent being to open up racing lines and improved racing. Lets hope they've been successful, basically it will be a new track for all riders.
  16. Weird that, they both are in decent form elsewhere, capabilities not in question, yet never seem to come to terms with the track. With Zmarzlik in the team who is an absolute genius at reading conditions and getting bike setup spot on. Don't they communicate?
  17. Yesterday
  18. Pleasantly suprised tonight good meeting. Track rode pretty well. Redcar reserves were excellent imo
  19. Jacob Bukhave was another I seem to recall
  20. Ranked alongside Kanopka,Graversen,Lee Smart!! and of course Joni Keskinen.
  21. Yes Will has been in great form lately, Cooper has more potential in my view but Will has certainly improved a lot.
  22. I'll second a ban for Mr Lawson let's start at a month and only be replaced by a NDL rider 😜🤣
