This stream auto-updates

  1. Past hour
  2. Thank you for the detailed explanation Gavin, very informative , I do hope I didn’t annoy you by posing my question ? but as most of us only see the ‘updates’ without any tv coverage my question was based purely on the points scored by the riders concerned. I know Kevin tried to explain there is a lot more to a team managers decisions than just the scores on the doors! Good luck for the remainder of the season.
  3. With. The only known cure, I believe, is riding in a Polish Top Tier Final 2nd Leg....
  4. I think that’s very likely, but if it’s the case let’s hope he leaves with a winners medal for his efforts over here the last three years! He’s been an absolute privilege to watch and although he’s struggled this year by his high standards, he’s still flown in and out on a regular basis and been committed to the cause. He missed the tail end of last year after his horrible injury at Sheffield and although he returned for the last couple of meetings in Poland but not here, he wasn’t fit and his absence was understandable. He’s missing Thursday also, but people are forgetting it’s a rearranged fixture that wasn’t in his calendar, and being close to his meeting for Torun and with nothing riding on the rearranged fixture on Thursday, you can somewhat understand his absence there too. In three seasons, that’s literally all he’s missed. Considering how clubs here have been messed around by foreign riders especially the top ones over the years, Emil has been fully committed here so although it’ll be sad not to see him return, he should leave with our thanks and best wishes. (and hopefully a winners medal). Bewley will be a fine replacement. 😉
  5. Heard ‘Torun Belly’ can be a bitch especially this time of the year
  6. NO! Obviously another dodgy Polish burger... much like the one Artem Laguta suffered from in 2023, he'll probably go for a run though, like Artem, to get it out of his system 🍔💩
  7. Might get a decent crowd and sell lots of Alcohol and Food.Viable!!
  8. Well... The riders do ride "for our entertainment" don't they? So economically viable...
  9. There is a meeting of the great minds scheduled this week, maybe it’s to discuss to top secret plan that is so big that nobody will say what it is or maybe it’s to tell them all the bspl is bankrupt, who knows, we wait with great expectations
  10. Today
  11. Given the money they earn in Poland it's no wonder some of them don't bother. Vaculik reportedly on £1100 per point - kerching!
  12. Maybe Ben Trigger is putting himself in the window for next year, but with Cairns and Rushen Looking like the reserve pairing for next season. Maybe not so.
  13. Somebody has to pay the prize money and the holiday for the winner
  14. This answer isn’t going to be pc but the reason is on the whole the riders don’t give a hoot about rules like cut outs after a race or helmets on parade, if you see them away from speedway they are in the main just having fun and doing stuff that your average Joe doesn’t do and safety doesn’t come into it
  15. This was always going to be a problem, especially when you were also putting a lot of faith in Boughe having to ride in the main body of the team. If you could have started with Boughen at resrve :"I know team averages" But an experienced No2 could have made such a difference to your campaign with Boughen and Hodder down at reserve.
  16. Sheffield will be definitely up to win this... They would much prefer to race against the Aces in the Semi, rather than Leicester I would think... Basically, it could be "winner takes all" given the Aces are easily the worst team out of the four left.. I would imagine it will be a huge crowd in attendance, given so much is riding on it... Let's hope no injuries (or maybe sudden illnesses) results in any guests...
  17. Surely the lineup for this meeting doesn’t warrant any increase in admission…🙄
  18. I understand that, but this has been going on for years now with Polish clubs, so why do people still act shocked when it happens? Even more so when you put into context what is at stake for Torun this weekend compared to riding for Ipswich Thursday night in a dead rubber.
  19. If the Torun agg score was closer J Holder wouldn't be riding either. Saying that there's still time for him to pull out too
