Are you not in Bournemouth then
-
Zagar and batchelor in the same team is asking for bother
-
H man knows Zagar from his Reading days I am sure.
-
Was that why Nick Morris withdrew from the Benfund Bonanza?
-
I don’t particularly follow the sport that closely in this country since I don’t have a team to support anymore but its remarkable how we are at the point we are at with teams closing yet when a new one arrives people still can only find the negatives. They’ve done a fantastic job building that team in the timeframes they have been working to, hopefully it’s a success.
-
Newman now confirmed.

There is definitely a certain something in those fans who still attend regularly "getting the sport they deserve"... They have happily colluded with promoters, as the numbers dwindled on the terraces around them, in pretending that UK Speedway is a bona fide team sport, and, being quite happy to take advantage of the latest Mickey Mouse ruling on a (deliberately I presume), ambiguous regulation.. When you are being endorsed by "just enough" people, then you may feel you have a mandate to carry on... I presume some are maybe looking for change now as possibly this season, given the nonsense of the winter, may mean that there are no longer "just enough", and even the "die hards" are questioning their role in the process......

Little concerned we have 5 fit riders, Bowes isn't 100% fit and I can't see Dan ever coming into the side this year regardless of the statement. It's a big injury to come back from. Shame we can't get Beau over, but we shall go for a local lad short term.
-
His gating on Saturday wasn't great (the final aside), but if he can get that sorted then he'll fly at home. Saw enough to see he should be a very good #4. Just need to see how Mario fares. Decent team though.

Yes, brilliant entertainment this weekend. The new Sportbike category was exciting.

Glasgow Tigers 2026

Nice idea in an ideal world, but hopelessly impracticable. I agree with Steve Park (!!!!) that such a competition would mean the lower-order riders (who might need it most) would be deprived of early-season action under racing conditions. However, what rules the idea out in this day and age is that none of the clubs could afford it! Paying your top earners for three away meetings out of the takings from just one home 'gate' would be an impossible financial burden. -
Basso and Bangs would have been good at Northampton. At least the stadium isnt due to be demolished or the landlords wanting to evict. These days, that's a major advantage
-
Leicester should be welcoming this, they finally have a local rival in sport, (their football fans try and claim they have one with Forest, but it isn't a real derby, not like Forest v Derby).
-
Temporarily

The plan is to have 2027 sorted by the end of June this year.... The more sceptical, given the track record of those in charge, may not quite believe it, however, let's hope for a "new start"....

Absolutely. Can guarantee the Polish clubs don't wait until November before they start talking to riders about the following season.
-
He came off during P&P just after Nick Morris did in the same spot
-
Poole confirm that Dan Gilkes has stood down bit.ly/4s6CfGp

Agreed if Zagar is happy/motivated they should win most of home meetings, if he's not fussed they will be up against it.
-
Deleted.

Personally think your team look a lot better Brennan should kick on, Tobi could be a 9 point man if his head is right and Bangs is one of the best talents out there, Lawson should be usual solid self granted the other three could be hit and miss.
