  2. But is there scope in the rules for a ref to alter the result of a completed race? Take for example also recently when a race started and was completed with two riders off the wrong gates, the race was run and even though the mistake was later picked up on, nothing was done. What would happen if a race was completed and no one noticed that it had been completed with a rider that had no dirt deflector, or wrong helmet colour until afterwards?

  4. Holy Christ, that wouldn't have got the occasional fan to turn up if it was. They were proper intimidating on a Bank Holiday Monday. Sam Ermolenko couldn't ride Cradley until 91 when he became almost unbeatable around Dudley Wood until closed, Simon Cross broke his back in 90, he was never quite the same after that. Both at their peak would have been duel. In the mid 90's when time Hamill & Hancock were at the top of their game, Cradley were better at Monmore v/s Wolves than they were at Dudley Wood. Andy's Philips & Graham were also tidier around Monmore than Dudley Wood and Scott Smith would inadvertently take some Wolves rider out at some point so going around him wasn't an option, not that overtaking him on the inside was difficult.
  5. Also most of the Danish U21 riders like Mikkel Andersen, Baatian Pedersen and Vilads Nagel doing Poland, Denmark and Sweden as the third choice purely easier for logistics. A couple of the young Poles that I know talks have been held with by one UK club asking for quite a chunk of cash as not just points money but also then need mechanic, van, workshop, hotel and flights so in some instances equates to more than likes of Kurtz, Fricke and Holder getting as number 1’s. The continental U21’s know UK needs them more than they need UK so will be some pants being pulled down when it comes to negotiations
  6. Thats what replays are for,to help the referee. And its been explained that both wheels had gone on the line he therefore left the track.
  7. The last accounts that I can find are as at 31st January 2024. Highlights are: Total assets less current liabilities of £625000 including cash at bank of £435000. Reserves of £933000. Member funds of £625000.
  8. Personally speaking, i don't think much blame can be put upon the referee, it's a poorly written rule that is open to so much on the spot analysis, hard to spot in the split second it took place and has any photo actually proven that ZC crossed the line, bearing in mind the rulebook does not clarify which is the edge of the track and how much of the wheel has to cross it to mean an offence. I'd say the rule should be rewritten along the lines of the wider part of the whiteline is the marking for the inside of the track, if both tyres touch the inner edge of the white line or further onto the offtrack area then an exclusion will be given unless it was due to taking avoiding action etc.
  9. Maybe the U21 foreign rider is down to the Poles, the U24 league costs a lot and they may consider subsidising younger riders in their setup to race in a different league, environment with the track variations to be better VFM in the longer term.
  10. Congratulations Scunthorpe the true champions this year, the fords, middleditch and havelock should get together and hand that trophy to Scunthorpe, the real Poole fans would accept it,who would to be the owner/ manager of a team which just aren’t the winners, the referee should get a horrendously long ban as well
  11. 05.1.4 Infield The Infield must be kept clear of objects, except those specifically approved and designated on the Homologation Certificate. Equipment or machinery essential for the meeting must be kept or parked as close to the centre of the infield as possible, and in all cases not less than 10 metres from the inner edge of the track. Collapsible A-Frame or other ‘soft material’ advertising boards can be placed at least 4 metres from the track inner edge. On the track surface clearly marked lines, chalk is acceptable, are required: a) a continuous line to define the inner edge of the track circuit Once his tyre passed the edge he should of been excluded
  12. Truth or another of your rumours lewy 😜
  13. If the back wheel is on the line it’s an exclusion Otherwise teams could make the white line 3 foot wide
  14. They came out and said there were no debts but financially they didn't know if the staying was viable. There were issues the season before, but this year there was nothing.
  15. Luke Harrison in the harbour masters, could we get an early announcement…
  16. I understand that could be the interpretation, but show me where it actually says that in the regs.
  17. There weren't any payment issues this year
  18. Yes he is a top man, always liked him especially when he rode for Poole in the distant past.
  19. I have never had any trouble with BSN streaming App/Apple Box.They explained last night that it was Bandwidth with so many viewing.Got a couple of error codes before meeting started but no problem during meeting.
  20. In Speedway the line belongs to the infield - on the line is off the track and should result in exclusion
  21. But switched to a British licence as the German Federation wouldn't nominate him in the GP qualifiers when he needed it Have cake and eat it comes to mind....
