Wonder what would have been had Berwick started with with seven riders they finished with? Morris on a steal for next year. And a top 3 as good as any. -
Thanks, followed your advice and it is a great view if sometimes dusty. Had a great night chatting to some bears fans. From an Oxford point of view a great fight back on Friday and a victory today.

Just been catching up on some of the comments particularly by non Glasgow fans, good to know you were concerned about the Tigers. Thought I'd just say well done to young Max Perry.

And so was the comments made to the club. If only people knew how much the club has done for him throughout the season -
What will 2026 UK speedway bring?
THE DEAN MACHINE replied to Lionsman66's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
That’s not true aside from other sports like basketball the country is a far better place than Britain is now, although it still behind financially but maybe that’s the problem, money, interestingly I was just reading about sport in Poland, the article was written last year and it had speedway down as 4th most popular but it was down as motorcycle racing and the most popular pole was Tomasz gollob, no mention of zmarzlik -

Speedway is literally the only thing in the world that Britain is behind Poland in. That should be evidence enough that we’re not running speedway right here. If we were then we’d be calling the shots. -
Ryan Douglas Testimonial

Me too, it was the most memorable testimonial there's probably been I would think, I remember Rick winning it, whether that was the last one to win their own or not I'm sure somebody will correct. -

Agreed. And a bit of a rarity for a rider to win his own testimonial meeting. -

Thought that was quite enjoyable for a testimonial meeting 👍🏻 -
What a week I've had. At Leicester on Monday. The Lions get my support while I wait for Brandon to reopen. And watching them claw their way back to win by 90-89 was sensational. The tension waiting for heat 15 to start was palpable. The feeling waiting for the rerun to start after the Tigers had made the start first time round was almost unbearable. And for Max to fly off gate 4 to seal the deal was truly memorable (apologies to all my Yorkshire pals). Then to sit down and watch Glasgow Edinburgh on BSN last night was another treat. A hard fought meeting which either side could have won. But to achieve a 10 point swing in 3 heats is hard to argue with. So any lingering doubts that the play offs are a good idea have been banished, from my mind at least. P.S. The delight continues. I saw Dougy win his testimonial tonight and I'm off to Torun on Tuesday to see GB win the SON (I can dream).
