Spoken like a True Fan…..NOT! 🤣 -
Tom Brennan? ”oh yeah Tom, ok, apart from Brennan, what did the Aces ever give us!?”
-
Yes, I have just watched his presentation on Facebook and quite honestly I thought it was excellent. He mentioned for my mind the most important thing about the oldest ever rider demographic in the Premiership. This is the most serious issue I believe facing British Speedway. Thinking logically, and forgot what promoters think for a minute. We have slowly been eliminating our rider base since 2003. Before long we'll have no boys to play with the toys and as Richard Coleman said we cannot have another close season like the last one. Let's hope he can sprinkle some magic dust on the BSPL meeting!

Ipswich win. We have been strong at home, Belle Vue aren’t the best at Foxhall and we will be under pressure to perform from the management. I can see Brennan getting 8+ on this one which will be great for him. Tobi isn’t a slouch round here so even if Doyley does ride it’s not a given Doyle does as well as people think. Scotty is decent at home. We have enough to see off Belle Vue although the bonus goes to BV in my opinion.

This has a different feel with Wroclaw involved. Forward thinking promoters, especially the Facennas at Glasgow for example, will want in on this. This won’t stop here. And I can see other Polish clubs wanting in too and they won’t be doing this for it to be a failure.

I think personally, and not speaking on anyone’s behalf nor was this mentioned tonight, but the likes of Belle Vue, Leicester and maybe King Lynn are with Ipswich… they see where this needs to go… let’s say some other clubs, especially in other leagues, like to just chug along and not worry about the sport as a whole, just personal interests. Which in turn, especially next season, might shock them into having to make a decision of what they want their future to look like. And I for one, am all for it. A shake up is needed, with some riders as well, not just the clubs.

once again our reserves ar heavily out scored by the opposition i wonder if theres anyone out there who could replace them we also miss riss cant believe we went with kennett when jenkins was available not that it matters as schroeck wont make any changes -
So what is his vision. Whatever it is. Good luck to him. Hes going to need it And I dont mean that negatively but when the sport was in much better shape and sandu and frost had a vision. Look what happened there.

Well done to Berwick, fought hard and came away with only 4 points to claw back makes the leg on the edge and I can’t call it. Think Berwick could nick a 6-8 point win and if they go through well deserved. We missed Lawson tonight, Bomber wasn’t great and threw some silly points away. Bowes needs to go, he is costing his team mates and club heavily now, he isn’t fit and certainly isn’t race fit. Now is the time while still on a 5 to get a new rider in. Matt and Danny seem to think he will turn it around, I haven’t seen anything this year to back up that thought, he looks unstable on a bike and has since the first meeting, keep him and it will cost us trophy’s. We have been spoilt in reserve so far, but once he drops there in July and scores 2 or 3 that will cost us meetings. He isn’t fit and we are going to slip up sooner rather than later and that came to fruition tonight. Look at some of the riders at Workington Saturday or see if Bailey will come over from July.
