Wonder what the chances are on Holder being over here though? At the moment, I'd say as much chance as Kurtz.

They might be able to do Maths - But I ask you, how accurate are their press releases though?

So, Sam Chapman announced as the 3pt reserve.

I cant help but think that James Shanes would have been a better choice. That's assuming he wanted it, of course.

Followed his scores a lot last year and seemed to improve every week from reports at scunny!

Believe he's in at Birmingham? Can only be a good thing but Ash Morris would have been a better use of points and made the push for play offs I think

Excuse my ignorance but Sam Chapman (born 16 February 1989) ?

Does that not mean he will be 26 this season and too old to double up between Brum & Plym ?

Not saying the date is accurate (Wikipedia) just asking the question....

taken from speedway gb a-z

CHAPMAN, Samuel (Sam)
DATE OF BIRTH: 16 February 1989, Truro, Cornwall.
BRITISH CAREER: (2014) Scunthorpe II; (2015) Birmingham.

does this create an issue or not with his nl place, any body know for certain.

NL eligibility:

19.9.2.2 A current PL Rider under 25 years-old with a PL MA of 4.00 or below at the start of the
Season.

He's 26 at the start of the season (because it doesn't start on the 1st January, it starts on 15th March), so he can't ride for Birmingham and Plymouth.

That's the 2014 regulations, though, and we all know how accurate they are.....................

I sense a crooked interests of speedway, no public justification, say a word against it and you'll be shafted from all sides decision.

He certainly isn't 16! Last season I think he was about 24 so 26 for next season will probably be correct. Yes this is a problem as you cannot double-up at over 25, hence why Simon Lambert can't this year and why Rye were going to have Bowen lead the NL team this year but have realised they can't

I didn't think he was that young, I agree the 25/26 date of birth is the more likely one, just wonder how the rules allow it?
