Glasgow V Ipswich Cl Wed 13th Sept 2017@7-30pm

Tigers doing a great job of luring the opposition into a false sense of security for the play-offs. But then again we have still to qualify 🙁

Good win for the Witches and looks like it could get very interesting for tomorrow night when they come down to our place.

Glasgow seem to having some real problems at the moment and they really need to re- group and sort themselves out because they appear to have capitulated and after a promising start to the season it could be that walk away from the season with nothing.

They can point to the injuries to riders as a problem, but the other teams in the top of the league have all had the fair share.

The heavy money invested in the club by the owners will have been down to wanting success, and it not rocket science that they would have wanted and it is looking as though it is not going to happen this season either.

And my guess is that if they do walk away empty handed that the owners will look at all aspects of the team, riders and management alike may find that they could be replaced.

Best team by a country mile won it. Or is that best gaters. With the track ultra slick to cope with the forecasted rain, the riders were sweeping out to the fence from ht4. Schlien was untouchable in his first few rides, making it all the more bizarre to waste a Bewley r/r ride on Summers in ht6 when the programmed Worrall was destined to come second behind Schlien. Looking down the card, it was always going to be Schlien and Greaves in ht8 where Summers should have got the Bewley r/r.

Only Lawson gets pass marks. Its frustrating to see Summers exposed by a 4 point reserve but that is where he is right now. Listening tonight it seems we have 3 guests and r/r for Saturday against Redcar which could be another defeat of the home variety.

Shut it ya wee muzzle but to be fair your right.

Sometimes you just have to hold your hands up as per the Sheffield meeting and congratulate your opponent they were better in every single department than us tonight.

And how good was Greaves well done young man.

We are a pale shadow of the team we were 3 months ago, as someone else has pointed out the team performances have went down the pan since that fateful night at Berwick. Ipswich and Sheffield will be rubbing there hands at the thought of meeting us or Edinburgh as I can only see the two Scottish clubs making up the numbers in the play offs , that is assuming we get there.

Richard missing on Saturday makes us even more vulnerable than what we were tonight , one thing you can count on is if you need to rely on someone don't ask Aaron inconsistent is an understatement.

Well done to Ipswich deserved winners tonight and should be a good final between them & Sheffield.

Decisions will already have been made regardless of how the play offs go. Lunna is secure for next year but thats it. Bewley will do what BV tell him and Smith is still a year too raw. Summers and Perry are gone, be in no doubt.

Indeed, 10 points for Sedgmen on the road is more than generous. No way will Sedg reappear this season.

Worrall withdrawn from Silver Helmet tomorrow due to illness, so maybe not 100% tonight either?

Possibly but we have no idea what is going on at the club anymore .

It appears time may be against Redcar as we stumble across the line but as things stand I have no doubt that Redcar would be a sterner test for the top 2 than what we would, and I wouldn't rule out a Bears win on Saturday after watching that dross tonight.

If Aaron was looking for a return next season the previous 6 - 8 weeks will have ensured that won't happen.

A wonderful night to be a speedway fan :-)

Tiggers, having been pumped by Sheffield, now find themselves being pumped by Ipswich and Mark Riss.

I feel so sorry for the Facenna brothers right now. Boo hoo, I could cry.

There is certainly some sort of issue for Tiggers right now, as they (or some of them) are being all too easily pumped these days.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Taking aside your sarcasm there is no doubt all is not well down Ashfield way in the home pits, but considering your lot haven't managed to beat us yet this season and if you can't manage that on Friday then I would look a bit closer to home in feeling sorry for someone.

You know the nearer the destination the more we're slip sliding away, Simon and Garfunkle said that.
