Well Nowak looked decent amongst some quality riders tonight.

When he  eventually comes in at Glasgow as a reserve, will be no surprise if he starts scoring heavily from the outset and have up to 7 rides per meeting.

It might have been a testing time for the Tigers between Sedgmen leaving & not having Nowak available immediately, but this could be a case of short term pain for long term gain, when the Play Offs start ;)

Indeed the current fixtures barely matter, Glasgow will easily make the play-offs & probably in the top 2!

So Zmarzlik would be on a 5point average?

Of course not, he is world champion, but Nowak comes on a 5 average

SR 10.2.2 doesn’t appear to make any distinction based on ability:

Riders new to Championship League racing are categorised as follows: -
a) a rider riding in a professional league in a previous or current
season will enter on a 5.00 MA
b) a rider who has never ridden in a professional league will enter on
a 4.00 MA
c) a new rider who is eligible to participate in the NDL will enter on a 2.00MA

However all team declarations have to be approved by the Directors as being in the interests of the sport.

Didn't smarzlik sign for Birmingham in premiership few years ago? Pretty sure he wasn't on an 5.00

Yes, but he only rode a couple of matches, and the promoter didn't pay him (like everything & everyone else) so he lost interest.

They should agree on a conversion rate before each season.

That probably means Poole could get Zmarzlik on a 4.00MA

So they’ve signed a rider who yet doesn’t have a visa to ride, yet the deadline has passed. What’s the point in having a deadline if you’ve not got all the correct paperwork in place.

Clearly the BSPL et al are happy, so no need for you to fret. Its probably just like the problems you can have with getting a new passport, you know you are going to get one but it takes a while for the bureaucrats to issue you with your bit of paper. So sensible people would assume that the  correct paperwork is in place, the bit of paper just needs to be issued. PS I realise you are from the 'east' but have assumed that even you know what a passport is.

By the way he looked quick today whilst practising.

Calm down Blobby the change was done before the deadline.

Incase you hadn’t noticed there is some sort of virus kicking about and things aren’t moving as quickly as we would all like.

I just got my V5 on Friday after sending the application on the 27th June, so if this government agency are as inept as DVLA then probably not.
