Red Flag 454 Posted July 30, 2020 The logical choice should be the British Champion
RPNY 608 Posted July 30, 2020 I'd give Charles Wright ago. Certainly didn't disgrace himself in Cardiff. I like Cookie but he's just not going to make it.

OveFundinFan 4,143 Posted August 3, 2020 Interesting that Adam Ellis gets the pick rather then Charles Wright. Would have been good to have the current British Champion in the field. Or perhaps Charles didnt want it. Also Greg Laguta having a go. I thought he given up on being in GP seires.
r8gdp 461 Posted August 3, 2020 Where's Nicki pedersen he would have made the meeting more interesting

Who knows exactly - at least Adam Ellis is riding in Poland, whereas it would be asking a lot for Charles Wright to jump into such a meeting with no recent match experience. Personally, I'm surprised that Greg Laguta is giving it a go; with the standard of the line-up being weaker than recent years, it gives him and the likes of Timo Lahti their best ever chance of getting to the GPs. I don't think having Fricke and Zagar in the meeting is right; unlike every other GP rider they now have two bites of the cherry when it comes to qualifying for next year. Equally, I'm surprised that the Australians haven't offered anyone else the chance to take part, as they are not exactly short of active riders. DJC 251 Posted August 3, 2020 With Lambert already qualified and Woffy odds on to challenge for the title, Ellis is the only other Brit riding that’s anywhere near the standard needed. If nothing more, great experience for one of the younger Brits. logical and decent decision from the powers that be, for once!
eric i 620 Posted August 3, 2020 Charles Wright is probably never going to be GP standard(I know he scored points at Cardiff), whereas Adam Ellis is still only 24 and would benefit from the experience.
Mr Blobby 2,662 Posted August 3, 2020 (edited) Line up is awful, 12 of them no where near GP standard. Edited August 3, 2020 by Mr Blobby

OveFundinFan 4,143 Posted August 4, 2020 Well, I can see two riders listed who are in 2020 GP series, and I rate all three are worthy to be there.
