To rebuild some of the club finances!!  Are you really a Pirates fan as you seem to be critical of quite a few things to do with Poole?

Quite possible to be both critical and a fan, not everybody thinks the sun shines out of their promoter's rear.

Makes quite a difference if you've got the resources to go with a heavyweight top three and bring a top young talent like Basso over. Poole will do the double this week at a canter unless they encounter some very bad luck.

Hope we don’t do an afternoon meeting again. Track is slick and easy to ride. I’m saying that it’s been like that all season. Gone are the days were it was prepared grippy and difficult for the away riders.

Winning half our home meetings this season says it all.

well done to Poole, second leg a formality now.

If the meetings ever go ahead  .....Glasgow will be a sterner test ...... at least their riders will have had time to prepare machinery.  Depends very much on Craig Cook who on his day is the best rider in the 2 sides.

Entertaining meeting. Ben Cook struggled to get to grips and Bailey didn’t do much but we were never going to give Monarchs a decent lead. After a couple of feel your way rides, Ben Basso was brilliant. Backed up our heat leaders with Danyon and it was job done.

Craig came out of his sick bed on Friday and did an immense job , however struggled on Saturday, hopefully he will be feeling better by Tuesday
