But how does that change the whole meeting unless track changed as well and Leicester riders not riding on right part of the track?

Good point, the track had dried out and slickened off by that point, probably more to do with it than any handbags

All tracks change as a meeting progresses & the incident happened in heat 7 when 3 riders went for the outside line at bends 3 & 4, Tero being the inner of the 3 where the Lions riders both went out to block him. Heat 8 resulted in a 5-1 to the Lions before the Scorpions got 2 x 5-1's of their own. There was then a quick track grade & water spray as it was starting to get slightly dusty, expected on a warm day with a good breeze. After this, we followed it up with 3 more 5-1, a 4-2 & 3-3 final heat. The last 7 heats were more to do with the Scorpions stepping up a gear in their 1st home team meeting.

Discovered where all those holes at Poole ended up! First and second bend at Leicester. Plus a jump ramp at the starting gate where riders bounce in the air !!  :D

It's funny now Poole have sorted there track out that the likes of you Steve actually admit it was poor last season when if anyone said anything negative about Wimborne Road you would be going for the jugular, blinkered lot you pie rats.:t:

Okay, that's good :t:

Seems we pushed Leicester the whole meeting and Drew pretty much kept us in it. Not gonna be reserve for long if he keeps this form up!

A good meeting in the end though King unfortunate to be exc when Worrall again looked the culprit. Was. 3-3 with lawson charging down Howarth to get a draw when coming together happened. 5-1 rerun made score look better for Lions than they deserved. If a playoff Pirates would be celebrating. Cooks struggled but Kemp a revelation. Ablitt as expected. Good crowd. Good racing tonight with some tough battles.

Looks like Cook's will be very effective at home as well as Kemp but maybe struggle a bit away.....that's where Kemp should compensate...nice balanced Pirates side though

Was disappointed with the Cooks tonight. Expected Zach to pick up a few but not close. Kemp though got his lines worked out and was top notch. Lad has ability and speed. Think he will move up first green sheets but be fine.

Deserved win for Leicester.

Lost a sure 5 1 when Mountain had ef and endine problems earlier for Worrall.

Poole will look very weak away from home when either Cook drops to reserve.

Kemp started Sheffield season well at reserve but struggled mentally at no 2

Be interesting to see if he's mature enough to cope now.

Dan T needs spell at reserve too.

From my view half way down the back straight, the Ref got both exclusions correct, Worrall the first time though Lawson pulled the same move on Howarth previously but Kyle backed off & King did not.

In heat 15 King just didn’t turn into bend 3 and went straight on into Richie.

Some good hard fought battles on a track a little rougher than usual.

Kemp managed to up his game and got dialled in after 2 rides which always kept Poole in the hunt, overall I’d say it was a fair enough score line.
