Yearbyred 1,107 Posted September 10, 2023 Just seen the video and it was pretty horrific. Gutted for Charles and hope he’s not in too much pain.

TheWellBehavedWorrall 289 Posted September 10, 2023 (edited) For those who haven’t seen it. Very best of wishes to him and what a wonderful creation air fences are. On a standard fence, that impact is career-threatening. He’ll be tender, but thanks to Poland’s finest morphine, he’ll be comfortable. https://x.com/parkmaszyn/status/1700942593960349719?s=46&t=X-fQh82nyLXPqBG4Ugqe7Q Edited September 10, 2023 by TheWellBehavedWorrall

mikebaker 200 Posted September 11, 2023 Kyle Howarth best option, imo. That's if he is OK. After pulling ot at Edinburgh. Noticed on updates site. Is listed to ride for Sheffield tonight.

Wish Wrighty a speedy recovery for Redcar & Belle Vue sakes, but... This is why some foreign clubs stop their riders riding for other clubs when the pay offs or important matches come around
Jaizer 2,864 Posted September 11, 2023 First of all best wishes to Charles. Looks a bad one. Secondly with both Edinburgh and Redcar needing a guest can they use same one? Howarth could ride for Edinburgh and Redcar (fixture permitting) but riders from the other group can't guest?

Rory Schlein seems the best available from a non championship play off team.

Been abysmal there this season. Looking at scores at Redcar, Oxford and Glasgow of the bottom 3 sides I'd be tempted to use sedgy if wanted same rider every match. StevePark 2,783 Posted September 11, 2023 Taken off Redcar Facebook page (copied and pasted): "Charles made a great start to his debut for Wroclaw yesterday with a couple of third places in his first two rides. Unfortunately in his third ride Charles had a horror crash in the first bend. We have spoken to Charles and he has a broken collarbone which is getting operated on now. He also has fractures to ribs and vertebrae which will be assessed after the operation. It's a devastating way for his season to end. Get well soon captain" 1

Oh well I dont think r/r would work, i doubt it it necessary to use the same rider every match, I think they could use Howarth for home matches.

While Riss was out. Personally, wouldn't don a Bears race jacket again. Remember his attitude back in 2012. When he rode for us. Howarth far better option, if fit. A racer. Not a gating tart. That Sedgman is. Edited September 11, 2023 by mikebaker
