The most bizarre programme quiz ever?

Anyone remember the bizarre quiz in our programme in the early weeks at Hampden in 1969? Anyone got the first clue how to solve it. Seems beyond Mensa, Only Connect etc standards. More than 50 years on and it still completely baffles me!

Blimey...that's a hard one!

There's obviously some kind of code - but nobody has a clue how to decipher it!

There appears to be some kind of information missing as there is no indication of how to even begin.

The only thing you have to go on is the previous weeks answers. Which aren't much help!

And they obviously expect at least three correct answers!

I've tried:

1: Bingo rhymes... "Ole the Bee #3"..."#48 fast from the gate".

2: Scrabble values

3: Place in the averages!

No joy... could I have the "Lion Wall" instead!

The only positive was realising there was at least 100 First Division riders!

How did that help on week 1? They must have given an example.

Where is that Maestro quizzer Norman Jacobs when you need him  :)

The way to solve this problem is to find the Glasgow programme with the answer in. Simple.
