Plymouth v scunthorpe may 2nd

Recommended Posts

Very tough opening championship match against a strong Scorpions side, with a good guest in for Kennedy who i suspect will be Lee Complin.

If the Plymouth reserves can score a combined 6 points then it has to be gladiators win (we hope).

Will be watching on the livestream - massive thankyou to Andy and his team for being able to provide such service!

Don't really fancy our chances tbh but hoping we can keep it close 48-42/47-43 ish

Be interesting to see the score from this compared to score last week as Poole and Scunny built similar.

Similar Plymouth tactics. Stuff the opposition number 1. 49-41:cheers::party::drink:

Because Douglas only had 1 bike in the pits I believe does seem a bit weird that none of his real teammates leant him a bike he had to borrow one off there guest. It was a good meeting though we (Plymouth )are just a bit to weak at reserve so I can’t see any aggregate bonus points coming gilkes was excellent but we were lucky complin wasn’t on it tonight and palm toft was not his usual self, but a wins a win.

Watched the live stream, very impressed with Dan Gilkes style on the bike. Really hope he goes a long way.

Unfortunate they picked the wrong guest and Douglas had to use borrowed machinery in heat 15.

Probably had the best tyre on it after only doing 3 heats. Also, others could have been packing away.

Damaged a bike in his Wolves meeting on Monday Night.

Poster have been mentioning Complin to guest for others these last 2 weeks(probably with reason) but also pointed out he has a new born child & wanted family time. Bank holiday weekend, spend time on south coast, up to Birmingham today could have been family time as well as work. Tofty scoring only 4 probably did not help the cause but you can not score well all the time.
