arnieg 3,649 Posted June 17, 2023 Ht 15 was an interesting one, a wide divergence of views on who should have been excluded, and not split across partisan lines. It probably depended on where you viewed it from. Either way it was a cracking match and that twist made it one of the best league matches I've seen in years - can't see the play-offs providing that much excitement. Redcar already topped my chart of favourite places to visit in British speedway, and is in no danger of being deposed. I've never really got Scunny to be honest, it can produce good racing but suits out and out track specialists in my opinion. If you are going to go to a speedway meeting "as a neutral", then the result is never going to matter! Now Newcastle has gone, I'm a neutral wherever I go (mainly Redcar as I find Berwick mightily boring) and don't really care about the result and hope I'm going to see a decent meeting.
