Lawson would put 30 mims on a meeting with his antics on the start line!

He was excluded from a race at Wolves for allegedly warming his tyre on concrete, never known that before.

I remember Jens Rassmusen getting done for the same offence at Sheffield back in the late 80's/ early 90's :)

Based on dealing with him as an away rider for 11 season and a home rider this season I have never found Lawson to be a rider that arses around at the start. Maybe its a weak start marshal that is the problem.

Must admit that’s something I never noticed with him when he was at Ipswich a couple of seasons ago either.

This has nothing to do with the starting marshal. This "offence" took place behind the pits and was reported to the referee by the machine examiner.

I dont think anyone said it was. My comment was in response to his antics on the startline putting 30 mins on a meeting.  But weak start marshals can cause meeting to run longer than they should.

Good luck to him.

But I don't think I'd risk having him in my team.

You are aware of the chronic shortage of speedway riders available to teams?

There is also a shortage of teams if you are referring to the UK.

That's not a good reason to include someone

Perhaps the recently bans should be rescinded if matters are that bad.....

Likely less teams next season anyway so not the pressure you intimate in reality

Recovering from a mental health illness is not a good reason to exclude someone

I thought he was withholding his services and was therefore suspended?
