Especially as Kyle by his own admission wasn't 100% fit due to a shoulder injury which he now has had an operation on and says he's pain free for the first time in a long time. Yes true and he had a really good season despite that, very disappointed he hasnt a place in the team, always gave his best for Poole.

Pirates Of Poole 761 Posted December 9, 2023 Welcome to Poole Tom! Great signing and was good to catch up and have a chat with him last night, very level headed young man and think he will easily put 1 - 1.5 on his average in 2024.
HGould 2,213 Posted December 9, 2023 Very strange that everyone at Glasgow had planned without Brennan in 2024 based on what he'd told them at start of 2023. Peter Facenna invested in him and owns him so would hardly leave him out unless he believed unavailable or couldn't fit him in or both Good move for him to Poole but with Polish commitments on Sunday, Brummies on Monday and Thursday and Sweden on a Tuesday he's going to be very thinly spread equipment and time wise. Will he be second string in reality with Lawson and Cooks above him?

If its a choice between Brennan and Rowe then it's Tom all day long for me, as for Newman I don't think there is value in his average at all, I expect he will be back in the future if he goes elsewhere and his average dips Edited December 9, 2023 by Bagpuss

Yes it was good to meet him last night. Very personable and made a point of going around to every sponsor - chatting and photos - during the evening. First 'live' interview with one of the Piratecast crew too. Watch this space.......or more accurately, social media and Youtube! So it is doable just have to be very prepared and organised.

Have to remember how much weaker the league is going to be next season. We seem to have the same discussion but with different riders each season FB! Brady Kurtz, Rory Schlein, Steve Worrall. Can't remember if you were one of the Poole fans unsure of Lawson coming in 2022 or not lol. Maybe I am just overly optimistic. But Rickardsson only scored 6 as an away rider before signing for Poole. So I'll wait til at least May before I start worrying about the team

So, that indicates you know who it may be . Last nights sponsors meeting seems to have been informative by the sounds of it . Brennan news was good. Not unexpected for us on the forum but the majority of fans don't come on here so it would be viewed as exciting news for sure to get an exciting 22 year old Brit signed up. I take it you mean the assumption on the other 2 probably being Zach & Tom Perry as rumoured here for some time. As for the possible surprise last signing. With only approx 4.20 left you have Nielsen/Starke/Joe Thompson - The Dane Borke who we can probably exclude as a Dane with a Wed track - Aussies Pearson (rumoured to be going to Glasgow) or Hook. Besides them its a young untried Aussie ??. Can you maybe throw us a teaser/clue or two so that at least a few of us maybe able to work it out without naming said rider. Or you could mail me as we have exchanged views before .
