That soft spot has caught a few riders out, lucky there hasn’t been a more serious accident.

Bend 3 is dangerous either need to go in real tight or wide into the corner or hit that soft bit and get taken for a ride. Thankfully nobody has been seriously hurt yet.

Agreed. Pretty poor that they didn't address this earlier but they appear to have got very lucky.

Probably wanting a home track advantage Mr Godfrey cheating again

From what I saw on Good Friday the 2 lowest points on the track are the two most crucial i.e. entry to turns 1 and 3, this is where any excess water gathers and isn't draining properly, leaving the material in to the turns spongy and excessively grippy

I'm all for home advantage usually but this was pretty dangerous and I'm really surprised it wasn't fixed earlier.

Rory does a great job when on BSN .Passes on some great knowledge about the technical details.

Comfortable win for Scunthorpe, who will take some beating at home when they all click. Allen and Ablett particularly impressive.

Only Wright and Edwards (and to a lesser extent Trigger) were on the pace for Redcar and the 3-4 pairing looks very vulnerable (as suspected). But it’s early days and hopefully they improve.

Agree about Schlein thought he was very good but Roynon’s questions were often longer than the replies!

Unfortunately it  is Roynon for another season.

Roynon is terrible but at least he's off commentary now. Much easier to mute.

Hope he is permanently off the commentary though. He spoils a good product IMO.Should use Rory as much as they can very easy to listen (no shouting ) and knows the sport inside out.BSN is good set up.

from what i saw tonight it looks more like last weeks ref was right not to allow meeting on

wasnt much track work untill they nearly lost there own rider in ht 13

also find it strange that palm toft won his 2nd ride and could be seen on track obviously discussing the poor track  then pulled out

id say it was more down to not wanting to ride rather than injured

Greatful to have a meeting to watch tonight. Scunthorpe look rather solid at home, weakened by Douglas moving on - Jake Allen impressed.

As for Redcar - Charles Wright was superb and as Yearbyred alluded to above Edwards mixed it well. Otherwise didn't expect much from the rest even King who was woeful after Heat One.

With a 38 point limit, every team should look weaker at home.

To me this team is stronger than if they had included Douglas, having to drop Mountain for a reserve to fit under the limit for example.
