Kemp isn't great but he's a more reliable option then others on the table. I personally look at it this way....   Riss has been mentioned, Good rider but the illness keeps coming back so if it's him then you're playing poker because if the illness returns after others have improved GSA's then it could be a case of scrambling around for a rider on a 3 something to replace him. Could take a punt on a youngster from Europe but they're very hit or miss where the Witches got burnt this year with PHB and with the RS not likely to score many points (If any) then it's too risky to run a Team with two riders not scoring points. Kemp, Can be frustrating and his head does go at times but he's also someone who's very experienced on British tracks and someone that's capable of scoring well around Leicester which is going to be Play-Off track in 2027 without a shadow of doubt.

He did, but I think he must have counted a rising star as a 3 pointer because I’ve since had it confirmed to me that it’s 37 plus a rising star.

Using the final Green Sheets - Issue 23, 6th October, I make the averages as follows: Bewley (including reduction) - 8.56 King (including reduction) - 7.17 Doyle - 8.62 Cairns - 3.0 Nilsson 4.5 That totals 31.85.  If it’s 37, then that leaves 5.15 for the last rider. Also, let’s not forget that Coleman in his interview with Radio Suffolk the other day stated that the 2027 number is 40!

Witches end of season party tonight so may be few more rumours about or hopefully start announcing riders signed for 27.

1. Sam Masters (8.99) 2. Dan Gilkes (4.46) 3. Mitchell McDiarmid (5.53) 4. Luke Killeen (6.03) 5. Tom Brennan (8.64) 6. Dayle Wood (4.28) 7. Harry Fletcher (2.00) 39.93

Rushen will be back
