LEICESTER: Ryan Douglas, Drew Kemp, Nick Morris, Dan Thompson, Sam Masters, William Cairns, Joe Thompson. Potential to be the usual close match between these two sides.   For Sheffield you’d think Doyle has ability to score more than they’ve been getting for J.Holder’s rides which should help the end total, the reserves need to show up though after their abject performance on Monday at King’s Lynn.  The rest of the Sheffield team have generally been pretty solid over recent weeks at home.  As for Leicester I think they are weaker with Cairns in as a guest for Howarth who could have easily had double figures from reserve spot (know had blip in last outing there), but J.Thompson seems to have a liking for the Owlerton circuit nowadays which will help. Douglas will get the points expected from a number 1 same as he’s done all year, it depends on what side of bed Kemp, Masters and Morris have got out of if Leicester are to push for points all capable of winning races there as well as being well adrift Home win but not by much 48-42 

Just to seek clarification of your last paragraph....Are the '2 or 3 teams still wanting a top tier' existing Prem clubs? If so I presume that's BV, IPPO and Northampton?

R/R for Kye Thomson this evening.

If that wasn’t the worst meeting recently at Poole I’d hate to have seen the ones that were deemed worse. One pass of note all night (Cook on Sedgmen in heat 7), massive blue grooves meaning that if you moved an inch of the inside line you went backwards and an embarrassing amount of dust for an evening meeting in low 20s temperatures.  A real shame as the track can produce excellent racing and Poole have a team that can win just as well on any surface so quite why track prep is as it is baffles me 

The piece in the Speedway Star with John Campbell suggests the penny, finally, may well have dropped.. Hiowever his comments about the Championship being "stable" are somewhat relying on how tier one teams subsidies tier two riders, and came two days before Workington mentioned that they may not run.. The meeting they held highlighted that no team want to "move up' next season, however, if DUing is no longer an option for the "better riders", that may change I would suggest, given plenty of NDL lads would need to come in... Would fans pay the same, or more, for a lesser product?... Two or three teams still wanting a "top tier" was also something mentioned, therefore, it looks like the "let's plan 2027 early" vision is still nowhere near... No surprise there then eh?..

Either way I can't imagine the Hagon household will be bothered especially not Sam.
