The whole thing makes you wonder if the rules are right. One of our best riders around northside gets taken out by an opposition rider in his third race. That means there are two races that require covering from a lesser average rider. That could have lost us the meeting. They should allow remaining races (if he hasnt completed 3 or more races), to be taken by one above and rest below.

CHAMP has been far too strong for a couple of seasons now to a point where it's been exploited by certain Clubs. Merge the NDL and CHAMP together to lower the wage bill and then put a block on riders who ride in any Polish League or Top Flight Danish/Swedish League from competing in the CHAMP in 2027. No fixture Clashes, Lower wage bill and a clear gap in quality between PREM and CHAMP over here.

If anything you were a bit kind on the podcast I think.like you discussed, serious questions about why the club has under performed must surely be asked Lessons can surely be learned from others. We went to Northampton last week too, and there are several points i think are worth a mention. The presentation was pretty slick, you could hear the announcer clearly. Grading breaks although regular were relatively short, and not just after the home team had got a 5-1 to sabotage any momentum. Interval entertainment was good , something else to watch other than more tractor racing The promoters were there, visible and interacting with the crowd .I think one of the last times I saw Mr allitt was on the back of the truck at the showground wearing a panthers jacket when lynn were there. I didn't think much to that! Our team; Max was superb, as was Bomber after his first rate issues, can't really lay any blame on the youngsters, Jan was poor apart from one rider, but in my opinion Brn Cook just didn't look interested or like he was trying, and he committed the " ultimate sin" of throttling off before the end of the race and basically giving up. I'm no body language expert but he just didn't look interested, and that pisses me off, we should have been fired up as a team and wanted that win , sadly it looked like we werent and didn't. I'm not the only one that spent a fair bit of money that evening and it wasnt good enough -
This is nothing mate, just wait until a week before the play offs.

It was Max not Brady. Easy mistake to make given our play off injury jinx. Brady was injured the year before with Charles being the one to miss out the following year.
