British Speedway doesn't have the finances to issue those demands anymore. If someone is signed to the top 2 divisions of the Polish League they'll just leave. We're already in a rider shortage situation having to have wobblers at reserve in both our leagues. I don't follow Championship Speedway at all, what's been the situation with teams going to Poole on a Wednesday & Glasgow on a Sunday for example?? Has there been regular R/R - Guests due to none injured rider's being elsewhere?? -

Hopefully Mr Dickson has realised the importance of contributions from a team's RS after the last two seasons. Ideally I'd like to see Dan Gilkes back or even Luke KIlleen. Frustratingly, we carried our No.7 throughout last season and still got within a whisker of doing the double. -

I agree with all your points but to attract a high profile sponsor speedway would have to offer something beneficial back in return, at the moment and the state the sport is in there is nothing it can offer. When Gulf Oil sponsored the league we had the top riders, bigger crowds and more public awareness thanks to being on World of Sport on national tv. -

I really like Hook but im not sure there is much improvement on that average whilst Tate will be in demand as he could easily put 2 points on his. Perry also looks problematic to me, not enough physicality about his riding and easily gets out muscled. -

Just a reminder to you all supporters that may be unaware, Bsn will be covering this event live this Saturday at 8.30pm. I’m guessing it will be worth a watch. As far as I’m aware it is free to watch with no subscription required. As you all may be aware this is a streaming service which is available on multiple platforms. Let’s all sit back and enjoy. Riders attending are :- Bruce Penhall Hans Nielsen Bengt Jansson Chris Morton Chris Louis Jim Mcmillan Doug Wyer John Davis and finally Jan Staechmann. A personal thankyou in advance goes to Ben Duffill & Martin Hunter for agreeing to broadcast this ceremony. Ian Brannen will be the presenter on the night.
