I expect the Aces to have a full 1 to 7 and I expect the Stars team to be something like… 1 Lawson 2 B Cook 3 Klindt 4 Harris 5 Iversen 6 Rowe/Kerr (G) 7 Scott/Harrison

Same with Matthew Wethers, loyal to British Speedway for 10+ years, didn't miss matches to ride abroad etc. Average shot up when Newcastle matches were removed, hasn't been signed since, despite apparent lack of riders due to his 6.5 average. If they realise there is a flaw with averages, by all means change the rules for everyone, but can't change the rules just for Boughen.

I think people are just playing silly beggers now - i'd expect Kurtz to be there for sure - however i suspect its better to wait until people don't show, or are confirmed as not riding for whatever reason rather than just (wildly) speculating etc.

His best form at this level has been absent for a few years now. He was superb for Edinburgh in his final year or two there and his first season at Redcar he was flying but is a second heatleader these days.
