I fear it may also be too late for the Aussies and Yanks... more recently a lot of them have started their careers elsewhere in Europe rather than the UK, it's never too late to try and reverse that trend though.

Also think there's merit in trying to forge stronger ties with Aus and the USA to try and help them get more youngsters set up they could send our way later, agree its probably to late with the Dane's and Swedes now as most of their better younger riders just skip the UK and head straight to Poland and with better money and easier logistics its easy to see why. -

If that is the case my guess is Scunthorpe. Maybe Rob Godfrey feels some responsibility as Chairman, having led the organisation into such a parlous state, to act as a sticking plaster for a year. Josh Pickering as number one in both leagues? Â
