Given the reported size of their crowds each week, where is all the money going at Plymouth? - surely they're not paying silly money to riders (although their travel expenses bill must be higher than all the other clubs 😁)

Feels almost symptomatic of the wider society at times. If a rider isn't the next child prodigy and pushing towards the GPs by 18/19, they get almost written off. Sometimes they end up quitting. As you say, you need riders who are, ultimately, just average. It's even more concerning when you look at the ages of some of the 'mid-level' Premiership riders now - Klindt, C. Holder, Harris, Lawson, King, Masters, Iversen - all have passed or are edging towards 40. What happens when we lose them? -

Looking at other teams the one 8 point rider rule must have been scrapped therefore we need to be pushing for two 8 point riders. Jeppersen & Klindt? -
Absolutely spot on if both in the same team nothing gained by Lawson shutting off to let cairns through

Cairns "high"average is partly a consequence of lawsons "lower" average, you couldn't have both on "good' averages,so lawson might be the better call for next yr
